    Day 1

I am so excited to start writing in my diary! This has been my dream all along. I have always wanted to record my daily life and personal thoughts, but I didn’t have the chance because the Priest never let me have my notebook.

I kept asking him for many months and he finally agreed to give me one. Now that I’ve got it, I will write everything about me. Villagers can be stingy with their items because they usually keep them to trade with humans. Oh! I forgot to introduce myself in my diary.

My day starts early. I wake up as soon as the first sun rays come out, and I head over to our nice farm. Everything is neatly arranged in an orderly manner, and the crops are separated by type: wheat, carrot, potato.

I take care of the wheat crops, and I also look after the other two when Aly or Pete is busy. Aly is in charge of the carrots and Pete takes care of the potatoes. Our main duty, while the
