If we were to go on a journey, the first step would be to know where we are, right ? Similarly, before building a sturdy house of self-confidence, it's essential to know what foundations you'll be building on.
Today is dedicated to this crucial first step: self-reflection.
Today's exercise : three beautiful qualities
Instructions : take a quiet moment for yourself today. Sit down with a notebook or open a new note on your phone. Write down three qualities you admire in yourself. This can be anything from your sense of humor to your diligence, to your sensitivity towards others.
Why is it important ?
There's a very human reason why we often forget to value ourselves: we are programmed to look for errors, flaws, things to improve. It's a survival mechanism. However, this hyper-focus on our 'lacks' often makes us forget our 'haves', our strengths, our qualities.
