Finding Out Who You Are - Michael W
Introduction
Getting to know yourself may appear to be a tedious task. What else is there to learn, after all? You've spent your entire life with yourself. There can't possibly be any surprises, can there?
If you feel this way, you are not alone, but you are incorrect.
You know far less about yourself than almost everybody else in your life does.
We don't see ourselves clearly. We truly don't want to look. We're terrified of what we'll discover. We avoid self-examination. We'd rather watch TV, eat something, or watch videos online. Anything to keep from seeing the reality.
The truth, as unpleasant as it may be, contains the key to greater degrees of accomplishment.
When you know yourself, you can:
Gain control of yourself;
Avoid frequent traps;
Understand and deal with undesirable behaviours;
Have healthier relationships;
Choose a life path that suits you;
Find enthusiasm and happiness.
We're all suffering from misidentification.
We've accepted the American dream as a one-size-fits-all solution. We have occupations we don't like, but we can't think of anything else to do.
We keep making the same mistakes but have no idea we're doing it. Even if we identify our repeated errors, we don't understand why we're making them or how to fix them.
Without self-awareness, success is far more difficult to achieve.
To be extremely successful, you must:
Set large goals that are meaningful to you.
Use your abilities and avoid your limitations.
Deal with stress productively.
Know how to encourage yourself.
Overcome fear.
Persevere
All of these tasks are much easier to complete if you know yourself. Without self-awareness, chance becomes more important.
Consider the following topics to understand more about yourself and your chances of success:
1. Discover Your True Self. Your strengths, weaknesses, values, and preferences all provide hints that can help you discover your genuine self. Who exactly are you? This information will assist you in starting that journey.
2. Making the Same Mistakes. Our repeated errors are more difficult to spot than you may believe. These are the errors that limit our potential
