Accepting What Is Happening - Michael W
Introduction
The world can be intimidating at times. We are continuously confronted with difficulties. Difficult events appear out of nowhere, and we feel as if we're battling for our lives to keep on top of one catastrophe after another.
Such circumstances might be taxing. They can also make you feel exhausted, stressed, anxious, furious, or even sad. This is especially true when we feel out of control and there is nothing we can do to remedy the situation.
Consider handling those same difficulties with peace and calm. What if you didn't have to respond to every circumstance? What if you could let life wash over you instead of taking you away into the storm?
The goal is to become more accepting of your situation. You will no longer have to battle as hard if you practice acceptance. Instead, you learn to live in the present moment, meeting obstacles head on. Taking what comes your way with calm assurance.
How should this be done?
This book will teach you about acceptance, what it is and why it is so important. You'll come across situations where acceptance is the most beneficial. From there, you'll start the actual application of acceptance by accepting others in your life who are different or even difficult. As you develop an open mind, you will begin to learn about accepting change. You'll discover how embracing life's hurdles can lead you to the next step and how accepting your choices prepares you to take the next step.
Finally, you'll discover the most vital type of acceptance. You'll learn to accept yourself as you are, rather than what you think you should be.
This is a long road! It all starts with an open mind and a desire to learn how to do things better.
Ready? Let's get started!
