12+ Amazing Diabetic Benefits In Herbs, Spices, Teas & Oils - Shira

    Introduction

Please read this e-book in its entirety before using any of the products mentioned therein. Get professional advice if you are uncertain about any of the products. Research, and seek your doctor's advice. Some of the teas contain caffeine and may have side effects.

Diabetes was practically unheard of fifty or more years ago. Today, the disease is well-known and rising. Diabetes is not to be taken lightly; this is a profoundly serious chronic illness. Left untreated or not treated properly will lead to serious health problems, such as kidney disease, vision problems, nerve issues, limb amputations, liver, heart disease and more.

Why are so many people getting diabetes? Is it the way society's food has evolved? Instant food, high carbs, high sugar, refined and processed foods, fast foods, chemicals added to foods, and no time to prepare healthy meals? Or is it all hereditary?

While there are doctor-prescribed medications, an advised diet, staying active, exercising, for many of us this is not enough. I experienced severe small bowel blockage for four years consecutively because of one of these medications.

We can also find lots of promised solutions online in the form of pills guaranteeing the curing and reversal of diabetes, BUT are these proven and approved? Are these statements true? How can we know? What about cannabis medications? Are they effective?  Expensive? Many of these pills may contain compounds that can help control sugar levels, but are they pure, refined or processed? To see any actual results from these solutions could be expensive, lengthy, and possibly harmful, (side effects).

    Introduction

Is there a proven cure for diabetes? Whether or not there is, the right foods are important to keep blood sugar levels controlled. So, how do we care for diabetes? Keeping diabetes in check is a daily lifestyle, pure and simple. What we put in our bodies is what we will get out of it. Put in unhealthy you will get unhealthy, put in healthy you will get healthy.

My father died, at 53, uncles who barely made it to 50, and a brother just turned 60, from diabetic complications. I was diagnosed in 1999. For years I had problems controlling my diabetes. I followed my doctor's treatment, followed the diet, stayed active, exercised, but my sugar levels remain high, from the 300s and up, and my Hemoglobin A1C levels always 8 -10. My medications and dosage were changed regularly even insulin shots.

Then, several years ago I said enough, I am fed up with having elevated levels, giving myself shots, the constant worrying about diabetes complications, which only made things worse. I made it my life's goal to beat diabetes, and get my levels stabilized. I went back to my herbal roots (from my grandmother) and dug deep into the actual health benefits of foods. And foods that are beneficial for diabetes.

This e-book is written from my own experience with eating and drinking the right foods. By strictly following the contents therein, I conquered my diabetes. I became its master, not the other way around. I did it with the right mindset, consistency, determination, and diligence. It was not easy. For years now, my blood sugar levels have been between 89-102, after meals between 145-157, my Hemoglobin levels constant between 6.0-6.7. I am healthy, feel great, stress-free, and enjoy life.
