WHAT SIMPLICITY IS AND WHAT IT ISN'T
1) It's not minimalism.
2) It's distilling the necessary.
3) It's not getting a boring life by sucking out all the fun.
4) It's not a bunch of rules but more a way of life
5) It's not a destination but a journey.
THE FIRST STEP
Congratulations for taking the 1st step towards a simpler life and getting to know yourself more through journaling.
I can almost imagine what decisions led you down this path but this will end up being the best decision yet. I would suggest that you enjoy the journey (as it’s not a destination on the map).
Take ownership of it and take every turn as unfolding pieces to a puzzle you are putting together.
● Expect a lot of Duh moments and moments of being sure you are done.
● Expect to come back to reread and remind yourself of "How To" a particular thing.
● Expect to lose a lot in exchange for better, even greater things.
Now this is not to scare you but to get you prepared for the journey ahead. Here’s to you making it to the other side.
This is for you if:
● You're curious about who you are.
● You've always wanted to get started on journaling.
● You’ve been overwhelmed lately.
● You’re house and life is cluttered
● You struggle with saying NO and or people pleasing
● You feel unappreciated and can’t remember the last time you felt light or laughed out loud.
● You feel like a part of you is missing and you can’t recognize who you’ve become.
