Book

Introduction

Did you ever wake up in the morning and find that you already have a headache? I know what that feels like. The pressures of everyday life seem too much to bear and you feel overwhelmed. Simplifying your life can help you to overcome these problems and the book that you are about to read is written by someone who has done just that. I looked at my life and I saw it passing by too quickly. I decided that I was the only one who could do anything about it and what I discovered was a revelation.

Over the course of the chapters contained in the book, I will be showing you how you can make your life much more productive while at the same time retaining your sanity. You may think this is impossible at this point in time, although you will be wrong and when you find out the answers, will be shocked at what’s causing this bottleneck in your life. I know I was. In fact, I was so shocked with what came out of my own investigation that I believed it relevant enough to devote a book to. I also teach people who come to me for help with problems to deal with their lives in a simpler fashion and know it works.

Why does this book work? Well, the truth is that many people have tackled the subject of simplifying their lives but many of these books are written from a psychological stance and are too text book in nature. My book is different. It takes everyday scenarios and shows you how to simplify what looks impossible. You will feel happier and you will understand where all of your discontent comes from. Not only that, but you will be able to move forward looking at life in a completely different way.

When I explained this system to others, it helped them to achieve what they had always aimed at doing, but had put off because time never permitted them. The fact is that you have one life. You know that, and yet you put off the dreams in favor of the reality because you think that’s the only way to cope. It isn’t. Through what I learned and what I have since passed on to others, you will be able to enjoy life to its fullest because the answer to this problem is so simple to implement. The 25 ways to simplify your daily life was written with you in mind. All you need to do is take the time to read it and make that a priority. Once you do that, you will never run out of time again.

Chapter 1 – Taking Control of Your Stress

I worried about my kids. I worried about my work. I worried about whether I was being a good parent and a good employee. I juggled things. Most people who work full time while bringing up a family juggle everything to such an extent that they lose themselves. I know that I was losing all control over my life. It didn’t occur to me that all this tension was coming from something very specific until I organized a dinner for people who had been friends for years. This was my way of encouraging them to come and visit my new home and should have been something I looked forward to. We started with the idea that this was to be a simple dinner – nothing fancy. I didn’t have to impress anyone as these were friends from way back and accepted me for who I was. I didn’t have to put on airs and graces and be careful with my words. The trouble started
