Welcome!
Hello!
We welcome you to this new issue of the Zen Attitude collection – " The art of simplicity " - a guide which is meant to be simple. We truly hope this little book will help you understand the critical role that simplicity has in search for your inner depths and own balance. It will also give you some useful tips to simplify your life and remind you of simple things that you may already know, but that you forget to apply in your everyday life. Serenity and happiness are not just concepts, but realities that you can bring vividly into your life :-). Easily.
This book is not a treatise of psychology, nor a book offering miracle solutions, but it aims to present you, without complications, the mechanisms that can bring you peace and serenity and carry you on your way to Yourself. The purpose of this little guide is to reveal to you what complicates your existence and to give you some ways to simplify your life. You probably know a lot of the things you will read. However, you may also know that simplifying things is not always easy. We all have an almost instinctive
tendency to complicate our lives... Didn’t you notice? Maybe not because we rarely say, "Man, I’m making things more complicated than they should, But instead we prefer to say
Life is sooo hard"...
This little guide has the purpose to make you understand that simplicity is the one thing that can bring you joy and happiness in your life. These are not just mere words, but a concrete reality. A reality that you can live, just like me, if you decide to do it.
Simplifying your life is not simple, despite the paradox that this sentence may contain.
I guess I should not convince you of that because otherwise we would all live in simplicity - a material and spiritual life... What do I mean by that? Do not worry, I'm not talking about the lives of monks or nuns who live in intended deprivation... Their life is indeed simpler, by choice, but it is not always a conscious simplicity that guides their lives. life. By dedicating their lives to God, it simplifies things, since they have much less opportunities to face their fellow men or women and thus suffer from their actions. Their life is punctuated by the monastic life, rites, prayers, but also a whole management of their living environment which finally prevents them from being victims of the sufferings that the common folk, living in our society, must face every day.
You may find the title pretentious, but it's the one that came to my mind right
