    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    I’m not the author.

No, this book is not plagiarism.

To tell you the truth, I’m not even a big fan of books.

Why the heck am I doing writing one then, right?

That’s the thing, I’m just writing it.

At a certain point of my life I could see people wondering about their own existence and the voids that sometimes we feel inside us; really trying to fill it up with anything that makes us feel better about ourselves. You know?! Those voids that makes us feel like we are missing something in life? That we haven’t quite got what we are meant to do or be yet? Those voids that drive us to try and find meaningful things in life. But people weren’t the only ones wondering about it, I did too. We are probably born with that void – that constant sense of need. As children we need our parents for more than just clothes and food. As adults that void doesn’t go away, it just demonstrates itself as different kinds of needs. Maybe from needing to be carried and held close, we go to the need of friendships or family. But the truth is, the void remains. But how do we extinguish that void feeling?

A lot of people came to me asking all kinds of questions about those voids. What to do, how to react, why things weren’t better. Somehow, there was always a need unfulfilled. Unfortunately, I didn’t know the answers. Who am I kidding? I’m just me. A person trying to live my life with the knowledge I have, the best I can, just like everyone else. But, I’m not one to move on with unanswered questions. I want to be better myself and help the people I love. So, why not try?

The life we live in is a big, not comfy, but comfy, couch. Sometimes we get caught on our famous comfort zone and don’t risk trying new things. Sticking to what we already know, is usually the safest play to make. But as much as we have our comfort zone in our comfy couch, let’s also realize that life is not comfortable at all. Living is like getting lost in maze: as much as we try to get out and enjoy, we keep walking into dead ends.

When we look for answers to life itself, we don’t look far. We usually go to the closest to us and ask for advice. They always seem to know more than us. It’s really not surprising that someone looking from the outside often has the best perspective though. But the true answers are not somewhere else. They are within us. We find answers by not letting all those dead ends we had, keep us down. For us to be able to go through any maze, we need to keep trying. To find answers we need to constantly be picking a different path, until we can finally find the right way. Perseverance is the answer. For lack of perseverance, I hear the common phrase of life sucks. But it doesn’t have to suck. Life can be full of wonders and amazing experiences. If only, we choose it to be.

From centennials to centenarians, from first world countries to undeveloped ones, I compiled their opinions and experiences into a slick and assertive book. If you are tired of hitting dead ends or having needs that you can’t fulfill, this book is for you. But beware, is not magic. Perseverance is not something you have by nature, but something you have to nurture.

I spoke with our people. I observed their moves, we traded experiences, shared thoughts and feelings. As human beings we are a big sponge. Our brain is made to constantly learn, adapt and change. We can learn many different things from many different places and just like in a hard drive, we can store all information we learn in our brain. And even though what you went through, might be totally different from what I went through. Someone, somewhere, went through something similar. The world is far too big and populated for you to be the only one. So together, let’s do this.

    INTRODUCTION

Sure as the sun, your first thought about this book was this title makes no sense. Well, all that I can say is that this title perfectly represents life. Just like a book on a table, truth is right within our reach. But, it requires us to make the first action of reaching for it.

There are many books available out there to help people through life. In fact, there are an INSANE amount of self-help books out there. They teach all kinds of different things and advise you how to do things the right way. But, what is truly the right way to do anything? Because I believe it
