About this ebook
What If? What if we could wake up the next day and have a game plan that would actually make your life better? We are all players in our game of life, so why don\'t we learn to play it well. Learning how to change negatives into positives to win this game of life. Seeing that with practice, perseverance, and dedication, you can move ahead with more positives to combat the negatives. We can be our own coaches, players, and team—the me, myself, and I. The chapters in this book are the rule books. When you follow these chapters every day, your life will be better. It is a simple list of rules, but very hard to complete each day. Practice, perseverance, and dedication every day is the answer to completing it. The main thing is that we have choices. We can either stay like we are, or start moving ahead to be the best we can be. To actually have a dream, and make that dream come true. To win more games in this game of life, and never give up. What if you did this and it worked? What have you got to lose? Absolutely nothing. My son, in his younger years was a very good athlete. I witnessed what it took for him to be the best he could be. It was practice, perseverance, and dedication, along with hope, faith, and love. So I made this list, which became the chapters in this book, and started to follow it every day. I'm here to tell you that this list does work. Because if it worked for me, the hardhead that I can be, it will work for anyone.

What if you could wake up and start a whole new life? A life that will help keep you from the debilitating clutches of negatives, causing you doubt, fear, and feeling of loss. Isn’t that the hopes of most of us humans? But there it is; we are human, with our own free wills, and that is where I started to think of how we could change our free will to our advantage.
A lot of us, including myself, have a problem with discipline. You have to have that in order to be ahead of the game. Yes, I said game. The game of life. It is what athletes have that makes them win games. Mostly pure discipline. Yes, and a lot of physical talent too.
On the other hand, players also have guidance. And there are rules to follow. That is where the coaches come in.
But a lot of times, we only have ourselves to get through tough times. We can sit and worry about a problem, and not come up with a solution.
That is the key! Do not sit and worry. In all of the inspirational books you can read, it will tell you the same thing: worry is useless!
But how do you turn off worry? Certainly you don’t just sit there and worry. It really has no advantage to getting to the core of the problem. And a lot of time we just sit and make things worse by putting all of the negative what-ifs
into the already existing problem.
I thought, There has to be a way to not do this. Think about it again. Worry makes you very worn out and listless. So how can you get that spark of positive going when you are in that state?
Too much trouble. But the trouble only begins if you do not do anything.
I have fought with this my whole life. A life of what-ifs.
What if this happens, and what if that happens? But most of the time they were all negative what-ifs.
I just couldn’t get past the worry of negative what-ifs.
Then I started to look at what my constant thoughts were. Slowly, every time a bad thought came into my mind, I stopped and erased it and put a positive twist on it. Then I began to find that it became easier and easier every time. Not to say that bad thoughts are never in my mind, but for the most part, the positive outweighs the negative.
But because we have no coaches, in this game of life, there is a lot of room for bad plays
to happen. This is where the real solution comes in. We become our own coaches, and make our game plans, with rules, discipline, action, and team work.
You say, I am only one person; where is my team?
The team is me, myself, and I. And for me, my coach is my faith. You must have faith that a positive outcome will happen if you put some effort into it.
Faith has always been my main carrier. When all else fails, faith will get you through. Maybe not what you have wished for, but better than what was going on in your life that was not good for you. A little better is always more than nothing.
Like when you are sick. You are down in body and spirit. You go through the whole process of the illness, whatever it may be, and start to come to the surface, so to speak, to catch a breath of fresh air, and start the climb to wellness. You are so glad that the hard part is
