    About the Author

    Dedication

Like any endeavor, it takes more than one person to accomplish a dream. In my case, it’s taken a tribe, and I am so grateful for my husband, my children, parents and siblings for their support and love throughout my life. They have always made me feel I could do anything I set my mind to. I am also thankful for my teachers –those who have taught be lessons in life, both positive and negative, so I can continue to become the person I am supposed to be.

My appreciation also goes to those who make this a better world through service and kindness! These people – some I know, some I’ve never met – have been my mentors and examples of how I want to live my life.

The influx of technology, from smart phone to tablets, hasn’t helped. In fact, some would argue that the use of iPads, iPhones and androids has derailed much of our civility to the point
