She has her BS Degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Valley College and Master’s Degree in Teaching from Webster University. Kathy lives in Lee’s Summit, MO, with her husband, is marketing director for Whole Life Chiropractic, managing content director for Around the Lake magazine, and an on-call health educator for Health Fitness. She loves reading, walking, yoga, kayaking and mainly spending time with her triplet grandsons.

Like any endeavor, it takes more than one person to accomplish a dream. In my case, it’s taken a tribe, and I am so grateful for my husband, my children, parents and siblings for their support and love throughout my life. They have always made me feel I could do anything I set my mind to. I am also thankful for my teachers –those who have taught be lessons in life, both positive and negative, so I can continue to become the person I am supposed to be.
