    I want to thank you and congratulate you for downloading the book, Positive Thinking.

    This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to transform your life by applying simple principals to your mental habits and every day activities. Happiness is within reach, if you only know the right steps to take. A lot of people settle for a life of dissatisfaction because they feel that they don’t have another choice. This book was created with the intention of destroying that illusion and shedding light on a better way.

    Many factors are at play when it comes your general level of satisfaction with yourself and life, but many of them, you aren’t even aware of! These unseen factors are constantly making life difficult for you, when it doesn’t need to be that way. If you are in the dark about these factors, it’s impossible to improve them. Once you become aware of what’s happening, it’s in your power to change things, and ignorance is no longer a viable excuse.

    Your happiness is directly affected by your physical health, and bad events in your life (for example, a divorce, unemployment, or unhealthy relationships) play a direct role in how positive of a person you will be. These types of events will make you feel like you are not in control of your own life. Oftentimes, people who suffer this feeling of a lack of control in their lives have been victims of some type of abuse in the past. At times, a lack of a healthy self-image can come from traumatic experiences or separation from important family members in life. If this applies to you, seeing a health professional may be a good idea, but, you may be happy to know, that much of your feelings about life are within your control.

    Fortunately, there are a number of things that you can do to improve your own self-esteem, general positivity, and life, which will help you to break free of this vicious cycle of negativity. Maybe you already partake in some of these steps, and it’s not necessary to do every single one of them, but you will definitely benefit from trying out some of these steps. You can start by doing the ones that stand out most to you. I will outline some tips, here, and then go into more detail in the later chapters of this book.
