Stability of the Mood - Mar Ziq
Chapter 1:
The Fundamentals Of Moods
––––––––
Synopsis
––––––––
The term mood
has a lot of power. It truly derives from ancient terms that imply spirit,
thought,
to strive,
to be energetic,
to have courage,
and other similar concepts. It is sometimes referred to as customary behaviour
or custom
in some circles. As a result, the word mood
encompasses much more than simply being pleased or sad. Moods encompass a great deal of what you require in order to survive. Spirit, mind, striving, being energetic, and courage: these are all factors that influence your mood and sense of well-being.
––––––––
The Basics
––––––––
Various mood-related information:
You can describe your moods as your state of mind, whether you're happy or sad, lonely or fearful, depressed or joyful.
Emotions and moods are highly tied to the structure of the centre of your brain, which is where your unconscious activities are being regulated, and moods are strongly linked to the structure of your brain.
Moods are composed of three components: how one feels, what happens in the body, and what one does as a result of the mood.
Certain memories and experiences have a strong connection with your mind, which is why they frequently cause your mood to change on their own.
––––––––
Emotional states such as moods are regarded to be present. They are distinct from emotions in that they are less intense, less distinctive, and less likely to be triggered by specific events or stimuli than emotions. Moods are also distinct from personality traits or temperament, which are more long-lasting in nature. Nonetheless, certain personality qualities, such as neuroticism and optimism, predispose a person to specific types of emotions. In addition to short-term mood abnormalities such as bipolar disorder and clinical depression, long-term mood disturbances are classified as mood disorders. In spite of the fact that moods are subjective and internal states, they are frequently inferred from behaviour and posture.
––––––––
Your Moods Were Determined By Your Thoughts
––––––––
It is your thoughts that are in control of your emotions. In order to experience any feelings, you must first think about them or have them enter your intellectual mind in order to be understood and processed before you can experience them. If someone insulted you in a language you don't understand but did so in a calm voice and with a nice expression on their face, you wouldn't be upset. If, on the other hand, the words were translated, your emotions would change. This merely serves to demonstrate that your thoughts come before your emotions, and thus your mood.
––––––––
With objective self-observation, you will discover that you do not actually have complete control over your thoughts, nor do you have complete control over your moods. Spiritual activities are intended to assist you in gaining control over your emotions and thoughts, which are under the direction of various factors. Elements like jealousy, greed, selfishness, and other parts of human nature have the power to completely change your thinking.
––––––––
Loneliness is the most difficult element to deal with. Being along, and not only for a short period of time-the sensation of being along in life is, without a doubt, one of the strongest and most detrimental of all. The power of this element is concealed within its fundamental nature, and the majority of people are unaware of its existence. Consider all of the things you want or want to accomplish, and consider whether or not they eventually boil down to acquiring a friend, a partner, or the respect of strangers in your life. Because you have lost contact with or connection to your spiritual side, you have come to rely solely on the human sphere for all of your needs.
