About this ebook
These pillars are the living virtues of human existence.
Sunny Abakwue
Mr. Sunny Abakwue is a greatly talented African author. He sees his literary endeavors, like an import of a prophetic vision, prior to writing them down, with pen or pencil, all in his papers. S. A. Abakwue has many fantastic books available, not only online and in the bookstores but also in the public libraries around the world. Mr. Francis Abakwue is the son of Chief Abakwue Ahuama and Mrs. Mercy Nwodo Abakwue. After primary school at Ohanze-Isiahia, he became a trader. He got married and was blessed by God with ten children—among them two sets of twins. The first set of twins passed on during the Nigerian-Biafra war. From 1975 to 1994, he worked at the Lever Brothers Nigeria Limited, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria. After retiring from the Lever Brothers, he coauthored six different books with his prolific brother, Mr. S. A. Abakwue. These books are (1) Deliverance: The Buried Charm, (2) Colorful Poems, (3) Another Paradise, (4) Alive in Exile, (5) Village of the Jungle, and (6) Dirty Souls. He loves spreading the Word of God.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
It is great to give thanks to God Almighty. For the gift of life and good health, I thank Him. For the gift of the useful inspiration, I hereby thank Him. And for the constant power to write, I send up the heavy rain of thanks to our God Almighty.
My wonderful friends are many. So are my great fans. It is pretty hard to select about a hundred names from a magnificent list rich in most worthy millions of people. This is my literary dilemma, even as I pick up and write down the names for this particular wave of literary acknowledgement:
Mr. Jean Philippe Abonouan, I thank you. Indeed, you are a great African young-man, and a fine fellow African.
A wonderful thank you belongs to Attorney Jude Muyanja, L.L.B, L.L.M. You are a great lawyer and a wonderful human rights advocate.
All the wonderful people at the Xlibris Publishing, I give a heavy-rain of thanks to you. For example, Mr. Mike Green, you are a great gentle man. Ms. Angelica Merlas, you are a fantastic young woman.
Our beloved Mr. Felix Okwesa and his loving family, I give thanks to you. Mr. Okwesa is a great African actor, here in America. He wonderfully played the role of a wise African-American Professor in our Comedy Show: LAUGH MANIA.
Pastor Salisa Marughu, I give a special thank you to you. You are really an anointed man of God. You prayed over my prior literary endeavor, THE BRIGHT JUBILEES, the following day, the miracle of sales began to happen.
I give a special thank you to these wonderful friends: Dr. Andrew Halabi, Ms. Ilham Zahidi, and Mr. Emmanuel W. Vedrine; also, I thank these great friends: Officer Teddy Hendricks, Boston Police Department, Special Operations SWAT Officer; Ms. Arlene Bailey, George Bailey, Sr., Christine Fajors, Lauryn Lucas, Ms. Susan Volkmar, Charlie Walker, Amanuel Negash, Loretta Bolger, and Ms. Susan Ciccone.
Also, I want to give a huge rain of thanks to these wonderful people: Dr. Fatemeh Mehry Behbakht, Ms.Sara Attarchi, Ms. Mona Paak-zaad, Mr. Carroll Blair, Ahmad Attarchi, Javad Latifi, Mr. Nima Pehmami, Fatemeh Hadi, and Ms. Gina Schertzer; a special thank you would indeed go to these friends: Ms. Johanne Meleance, Dr. Sarah E. King, and Mr. Kenneth Ko and Mr. Simeon Nnah and his blessed family.
Oga Andrew Kakulu, you are a great friend and a big brother. I always look up to you, not only because you are a great role model, but also because you are a very good man. Mr. Jide Ogungbadero, you are one of my best friends in Massachusetts. I cannot tell the world all the help you have given to your fellow human beings. To put it mildly, anyone who has you as a friend is blessed indeed. And I count myself very blessed to have you as one of my best friends.
Mr. George Ochingwa and his family, I say a huge rain of thank you to you.
Mr. Chime Chukwuimemba, you are like a ‘twin brother’ in the foreign land. And great twins are always the best of friends, in all things. Yes, my Dr. George Nnamdi Francis, you are one of the greatest intellectual prides of both our family and our Ohanze-Isiahia Community, Aba, Nigeria.
I have some literary ‘second homes’. Among these homes is the Harvard Coop. Many great writers come here to craft out their new books. Yes, my wonderful friends at the Harvard Coop include the following: The ever-gracious Mrs. Ramala Gurung, the wonderful Mrs. Mamata Rai, and a great lady at the Coop’s Cafe who simply goes by ‘Armen’. Mrs.Ramala Gurung was kind enough to give me a few names of her own friends in her home, Nepal. For example, the great Nepalese District Superintendent of Police, Ms. Santi Basnat and Suraja Gurung, I salute you both.
Other great friends at the same Cafe are Mr. Jason W, and Ms. Mary Few. Mr. Hector Martinez, the Security Officer at the Harvard Coop, is a great guy. Also, it would be a pleasure to give thanks to the following pretty good people: Mrs. Nkaja Opara and her lovely children, Mrs. Ann Oluchi Nzenwa, Luis Rafael, Willie Pleasants, Mr. Avi Raman, Dr. Daisy Ngozi Obi, Ms. Barbara Murray at the Boston Neighborhood Network (B.N.N), Mrs. Blessing Chukwu, Mr. and Mrs. Brett Mallory, Ms. Cathy Wright, and Mrs. Celestine Chukwuimamba.

Mr. Christian Teja showed me around the Suffolk Downs Facility. He helped me to pretty much understand how the whole place works. This he did while I was writing one of the plays in the book: FAT FROGS AND JUICY TOADS. I am very grateful for all his help.
A huge rain of thanks goes to Ms. Christine Kaluma, Mr. Fikeremkos Desta; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Iwu and their family, Mr. and Mrs. Chukwuma Azubuko and their lovely children, Attorney John Iwu and his family, Mr. and Mrs. Jude Iwu and their lovely children.
A river of special thanks goes to Mrs. Blessing Rogers and her handsomely loving husband, the Great Alhaji Rogers. When the Alhaji and his wife, Blessing, set up a new Television Show in Brockton, known as Afrik Production, they compiled a long list of names. The list contained more than a thousand worthy people.
They narrowed the list down to a hundred names. And from the one hundred names, they selected just one name, as the guest author, for the premier television show.
I felt greatly honored when Mrs. Blessing Rogers called me and told me that I was the one chosen as the first guest of the new show. And after the first television show, they picked up other guests, including our very Governor Duval Patrick, the Executive Governor of our Massachusetts.
A special thank you goes to the following people: Ayodeji Ogunnaike, a PhD Candidate, Harvard University, Mrs. Anna M. Ogunnnaike, Jane Denison-Fumess, and Ms. Ethiopia Kassa, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.
I am glad to thank these friends: Mr. Lorenzo Woodley, a great Boston Police Officer in the elite SWAT unit. He is not only a very good friend, but, he is indeed a kind-hearted man. Yes, for example, he brings us tea, coffee, orange juice, corn muffins, Dunkin donuts, sugar and cream at our work, Thursday nights and Friday nights, 20 Clinton Street, Boston, at the Worldwide Parking Associates; Sergeant William Woodley, a very good man too and a fine brother of Mr. Lorenzo Woodley; Mr. John Gaturu; Ms. May Okong’o; Dennis Cordell, Mr. James R. Russell; Mr. Solomon Jerihun, a fine friend from the home of the Great Emperor, Ethiopia; Ms. Monik Sumi, a very nice woman from the wonderful nation of the Philippines.
I am very thankful for all my co-workers, the Worldwide Parking Associates, including all the Security men, the awesome Maintenance Staff, fellow cashiers, the gorgeous Supervisors, fantastic Auditors, and many a one-in-a-million Management team. Among the Security Staff are the following men: Mr. Yunusbhai (Yunus) Sheikh, Mr. Eric Anderson, Mr. Terrance James, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. Francois Olivera, the ever-cordial Supervisor of the Security Team.

{{{((((THE TITLE POEM: MOTHER’S ADVICE))))}}
AND A FEW WORDS ABOUT MY MOTHER’S ADVICE:
1. A word from the mouth of my loving mother was a wind of blessings.
Her word came, touching my heart, like a gentle breeze.
And I longed, even as I loved, every word from the heart of my loving mother.
2. A grace so pure, and the blessing so sound.
Her words charmed my heart with the breeze-like aura of the maternal instinct.
And I knew, I was forever loved by her.
3. My mother was rich in pure wisdom.
She was an embodiment of love, so true, so kind, and so divine.
And my God who gave me to her was remarkably right in so doing.
4. The only visible God I knew on earth was indeed my loving mother.
5. My heavenly God graced and blessed her with wisdom, caring and loving.
6. And truly, there is nothing more precious to me than my MOTHER’S ADVICE.
THE THEMATIC POINTS:
The advice of a mother is a pillar in the heart of her child.
1. If the child is a boy, she tells him to have FAITH.
2. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to be GENTLE.
3. If the child is a boy, she tells him to be a GOOD boy.
4. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to fill her young soul with dew of JOY.
5. If the child is a boy, she tells him to be KIND to everyone.
6. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to copy the unique ways of Sojourner Truth, Joan of Arc, Rosa Park, Margret Ekpo, and Mrs. Winnie Mandela, and be the champion of LIBERTY.
7. If the child is a boy, she tells him to copy CHRIST and be the LIGHT of the world.
8. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to live to LOVE.
9. If the child is a boy, she tells him to have PATIENCE in his life’s dreams.
10. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to be a woman of PEACE.
11. If the child is a boy, she tells him to live and PRAISE his Sole Creator.
12. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to be a woman of PRAYER.
13. If the child is a boy, she tells him to RESPECT other people.
14. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to have SELF-CONTROL.
15. If the child is a boy, she tells him to SMILE and be happy.
16. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to THANKGod for the daily bread.
17. If the child is a boy, she tells him to always TRUST in the Almighty God.
18. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to make TRUTH the beacon to live in life.
19. If the child is a boy, she tells him to live in VICTORY.
20. And if the child is a girl, she tells her to make VIRTUE a code of her daily conduct.
21. If the child is a boy, she tells him to WORK pretty hard.
These are the twenty-one pillars of rich living–-the truly great pillars of useful poems.
(((POETIC PILLAR NUMBER TWELVE: PRAYER)))
{{(((OUR MOTHER PRAYED
EVERYDAY. FOR EXAMPLE,
BEFORE EITHER OUR
DAILY BREAKFAST, LUNCH
OR, DINNER, SHE WOULD
LEAD US IN MANY A
THANKSGIVING PRAYER.
AND BEFORE WE WENT
TO BED AT NIGHT, SHE
LED US IN PRAYER FOR
GOD’S PROTECTION.
WHEN WE WOKE UP IN
THE MORNING, SHE LED
US IN ANOTHER PRAYER,
ALWAYS THANKING
GOD FOR PROTECTION
THROUGHOUT THE
WHOLE NIGHT, AND THEN
ASKING AND PLEADING
WITH OUR GOOD GOD TO
GUIDE AND PROTECT US
FOR THE NEW DAY)))}}
ALWAYS PRAY THROUGH CHRIST
1. I do not know how prejudiced you may feel about Christianity:
But, the Bible told us that Jesus is the way
to God.
When you need something from the Supreme God, the Almighty one:
You must ask Him, through His Son, Jesus Christ, in prayers.
2. The Bible told us that Jesus is the truth
.
What then is the ‘truth’ in question?
The Power in His Resurrection is the Power of Perfect Deliverance from sins.
Human ‘works’ alone cannot cut it.
The eternal salvation is only through the simple grace of the benevolent God.
3. If you take time to pray
, the Evangelist Sonny Okosuns sang in one of his extremely best-selling songs, God will take time to answer
you.
Distractions will surely come your way.
And such are many a life’s temptation.
Never lose the focus; but, concentrate on the goal before you.
Be determined to achieve it.
God willing, the same willing God will surely grant it.
ASK GOD IN PRAYER
1. What is your problem, my fellow traveler on this strange earth?
Take it to our loving God in your prayer.
Yes, because He is able to show you the light of a new day.
2. You see, the world is rich in troubles.
But, there are blessings beyond the vast fields of the earthly trials and tribulations.
The devil, whose real name is Archangel Lucifer or, Satan, will always roar, and cause a lot of troubles.
But, the King of Ages, our loving God, will always defeat him.
3. Prayers do pass through many layers of the heavens.
Always, they pass through the three heavens lorded over by the King of Darkness, Satan.
And oftentimes, the ugly servants of Satan, such as the demons and dirty principalities, would:
Either, carefully steal or, delay the answers to your prayers.
For example, they would cook up some illegal excuses, so as to either hinder or, even steal the rich answers to the prayers.
4. With speed across the hostile heavenly deserts, the prayers do pass through.
Never blame God when Satan hijacks the answers to your prayers.
For example, he did it to Prophet Daniel, Job of the Bible, and so many other good people of our great God.
5. Satan can send out a thousand imps to frustrate a simple, honest prayer of a righteous soul.
He had done it before, not only to spite God, but also to make the children of God look and feel bad.
He had done it, baffling even the very elect of the Almighty One.
6. Satan has nothing good for the children of the living God.
The lies of the devil were many a terrible legend, even in the highest heaven–-
All before he was finally
