About this ebook

The poet is given the gift of speech, the gift of never ending words. These words flow for as long as we will to let Poetry unveil herself. What words do I speak? What words will I give birth to? Will me words become flesh? Will my words heal? Will my words stand? Will they make wise history?

Fanny Magnificat

Born in Benin Republic and living in Canada, Fanny L. Tamegnon's first poetry collection 'True Amazone' was an unexpected success. Few years later, upon reading the letter of St John Paul II to the artists, she answers the Call while pursuing a technical career to serve the Holy Trinity ever more through her artistic gifts. With her parents's blessings she takes on the Missionary Name of Fanny Magnificat after her favorite prayer hoping that her whole life will be one that gives glory to the Holy Trinity like Mary. She now presents us with her second poetry collection 'MAKING Wise History'

Fanny writes with freshness and wit. You can almost hear the echoes of her robust laughter lingering between the lines of these poems. She takes an active delight in the world around her, and exudes a deep faith in the God who made and inhabits that world. Each poem is like a nudge, a wink, from that God.

    PRELUDE

Poetry now I breathe, I inhale and exhale from my skin. Life has chosen to only communicate with me through the language of Arts. So experiences around now speak the language of poetry to me. "… ⁶ And Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite began to speak. He said: I am still young, and you are old, so I was shy and hesitant to tell you what I know. ⁷ I thought, ‘Age ought to speak, advancing years will convey wisdom.’ ⁸ There is, you see, a spirit residing in humanity, the breath of God conferring intelligence.
