Da’Shaun Charles
Da’Shaun Charles was born in Inglewood, California, in 1981, the youngest of three children to Rugena Campbell. During the latter part of her childhood, she was raised by her aunt, Leslie. In the home of her aunt, she was raised with a Christian foundation, and later she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She became a mother during her second year of college, and she remained determined. After college she entered her career of choice: children’s social work.

About the Author
My inspiration of writing poetry arises from the experience of life. I perceive life as being an unpredictable journey by man and a destined pathway by God. As people we experience different situations, react in different ways, and live different lifestyles.
