Born March 19,1990 to humble beginnings as a native in Albany, Georgia, Jamarr Williams has been recognized as a stimulating, modern day leader of generational change. He is a very driven and ambitious leader who has worked to achieve a dual Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management and a post graduate Master of Business Administration from Valdosta State University. Growing up in the vast, urban reaches of a culturally enhanced Southwest Georgia, Jamarr became exposed to numerous settings throughout his adolescence. Jamarr was taught early on the value of "dreaming big" and possessing a "never give up" attitude, aspiring to one day serve in a capacity to truly help people become great and pursue endless possibilities. Throughout his numerous extracurricular activities in high school and his adult working career, Jamarr has proven to be an exceptional leader, exhibiting an abundance of high-level attributes that have before and still do help to inspire, motivate, encourage, and ultimately empower those around him. Now serving as an author, life coach, empowerment specialist, philanthropist, and motivational speaker, he has now begun a solemn mission to serve as a beacon of hope for the people of this world, fulfilling the very purpose that he is certainly passionate about. I am humbled to be able to dedicate this writing to the one and only, Joe Nathan Paige, community service leader, pastor of the Victorious Life Church of Albany, Georgia, United States of America, my spiritual father, long time mentor, brother, and friend. Empowerment and greatness are a manner of establishment in knowing without question who you are and are destined to be. It is the continuous flow of energy within oneself that allows you to be able to create and make the world around you a better place. It allows you to exist, to be, and to become. Look all around and deep within you and you will find an endless amount of energy waiting to be molded by your likeness.

For me, I have learned to appreciate inspiration from whichever direction it may flow or birth from. Therefore, I am indebted to a number of experiences and people for this very inspiration. For me, greatness began at home with loving parents. It was then continuously molded by that of teachers, friends, coworkers, relationships, and pitfalls.

Empowerment Intro

They say that assets are materialistic, tangible items that we are able to touch with our hands and see with our eyes. These items, such as our money, our houses, our vehicles, our jewelry, and other infinite items of utilitarian value help us to define our statuses amongst other people, so to say, and express ourselves moment by moment. Some of us even go so far as to say that without these very things, we are absolutely nothing. We depend on these things to operate in our everyday life, to buy groceries, to commute to and from work, to pay common household bills, to help express class, style, and beauty, and to help our presence be known in our communities. We go so far as to sometimes use these assets to make ourselves seem grand and indisputable.

Listen, I disagree! An asset does not only have to be viewed as a typical accounting term, or tangible, materialistic means. However, there is one very essential asset within you that you must always remember first and foremost to consider. No matter what journeys we take in our lifetime, there is an asset of self that we must be able to recharge daily. We must have what seems to be an adequate and endless supply of self to function day by day for ourselves, our loved ones, our local communities and economies, our demanding careers, and our structured households.

Without the essence of self, the very fabric that makes us uniquely who we are, the very drive that causes us to get up and want to try again, the ambition to want to set goals and achieve them objective by objective, everything that is attached to us is as good and as worthless as the very individual we have torn apart, dismissed, rejected, and neglected.

That being said, for this very reading, I choose to dismiss the very materialistic world and any and everything of monetary value that I have recently attached to who I am. This is not only something I do for myself, but I charge you to do the very same, for this book sets out to serve and fulfill one purpose. The very words recorded in this book are written with one sole, great person in mind, YOU!!!

That’s right, in this book I escort you through a journey and remind you of the powerful, purposed individual that you were always destined, created, and placed specifically on this beautiful earth to be. I help lead you down a path to reawaken the very resilience necessary to achieve any and all available positive outcomes. I help you to reignite and to refuel the most essential tool, self, that you will need in order to help you progress to what can be greater and produce that much greater.

My friends of every race, culture, nation, ethnicity, language, age, and position, consider this a blessing for you and a gift back to yourself, not from me but from you. Congratulations and thank you. As a matter of fact, I wholeheartedly and genuinely applaud you for taking the very first fearless step in order to either reclaim who you are, learn first-hand who you are, or enlighten yourself further on who you already know yourself to be.

Some of you may wonder, just exactly who am I, what purpose is he referring to and how can this book amongst any and every other book serve to help me? Well the answer to that is more simple than you might think because by the end of this book, you will be able to say with boldness, gladness, authority, and with conviction that "I AM THAT OF THE EMPOWERED!!!!

Yes, you are just that, an empowered force who can accomplish all that he/she/they set out to do. Yes, you are just that, a being of unlimited capabilities and worth. Yes, you are just that, an individual who has an infinite number of opportunities to be that much greater in this life. Yes, you are just that, someone who is a giver of life itself by imparting words of wealth, encouragement, wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration into yourself and others

In this book, I remind you that you are a champion! You can win every race, overcome every obstacle, defy every odd, and shoot for a vast reach of stars. I remind you that you are a fighter with a warrior’s heart, spirit, and intentions who refuses to quit and/or walk away from any fight as nothing less than the victor. I remind you that you are a Spartan, a titan, and a gladiator, armored with the fiercest of weapons within yourself to slay any dragon, tame any lion, conquer any fear, and cure any plague of an emotional disease or mental ailment that has caused you to previously settle in a realm of defeat. I remind you that you are a world changer, no longer partial to the very comforts that you have surrounded yourself with but a leader waiting to blossom and expand your influence from local community to city to state to country and finally the world!

I remind you that you are a generational shifter! You are not to be cursed by the very cycles that have kept your household, your forefathers, and your ancestors plagued, bound, and entrapped within broken promises.  I remind you that you are a true believer in and of self and not limited by any means placed on you by anyone and anything external to self but only limited by the very constructs, barriers, hindrances, and walls you place upon yourself and within your own thinking. I remind you that you are of peculiar and royal nature, eloquent, poised, and deserving of royal treatment. You, INSERT NAME HERE, are that of the empowered!!!

Perhaps your story is one of many people of this world, to include but not limited to myself. You have suffered from  the likeness of addiction, ridicule, slander, substance abuse, poverty, misfortune, homelessness, depression, anxiety, incarceration, domestic abuse, confusion, lack, loss, abandonment, betrayal, systematic defeat, social and racial injustice, poor self-image and self-confidence, and worthlessness.

Perhaps you are an individual who constantly finds yourself on the giving end of the spectrum and when all else fails and there is nothing more left of you to give, you fight with every little ounce of you to replenish yourself only to discover that by the end of your journey in the desert, an empty, dried up well of a man, woman, boy, or girl who is so depleted that you can’t even muster up the courage, yet alone the strength, to pour back into yourself spiritually, emotionally, or psychologically. Perhaps you’re one of many who has forgotten what it is like to dream, to smile, to live, to hope, to love. Maybe you’re one of many who feel that it is impossible or that you are incapable of having the simplest manner of peace. Perhaps you are one of many who has become so consumed by the very toxins external to self and allowed them to poison you so much so that you have unconsciously caused so much chaos within yourself that you are unaware of how to even connect with your innermost self anymore.

Fret not, it is okay to hurt and feel the pain that you feel. I come to let you know that this is only one step, one moment in your life and that in this very moment, just as you have allowed yourself to experience and express whatever it is that you feel in this very moment, you can also choose to think yourself different, be different, and shift what has been a period of without to a lifelong, everlasting feeling of abundance. But the key is, it truly does start with you. It starts from the inside out.

My very prayer and hope for each and every one of you who chooses to walk this journey with me will be able to say, I am the empowered! My anticipation is that by the end of this book, you will be able to know exactly who you are and look in the mirror with a new confidence and a new type of firmness and shout that I am the empowered!
