About this ebook
Every once in a while, we need to remember who we are. It is my intention that the words will spark thought, movement, and action.
More importantly, it is my hope that looking at life through wider binoculars will broaden and deepen your appreciation for yourself.
A good friend once told me, "James, once you put the book out there, it's out there". Well, it's out there. ENJOY!!!

Dedication
To the women who loved me before I was me. And even through death’s veil, support me. My mom, Mrs. Dorothy Jean DeBerry and my dear sweet grandmother Mrs. Myrtle Bell Proctor. These two spirits were, are, and forever will be part of the essence of who I am. Thank you, miss you, and forever love you both.
Angles of the Journey. You may ask, what’s this book about
? Fair question. Well, in a nutshell, this book is about you. Angles of the Journey is meant to be read with an open mind, no judgment, no criticism, just you being honest with you. When I say honest, I mean HONEST. Angles of the Journey was written to allow you to step back, if only for a moment, to review, reflect, and revitalize from the inside out, to meet the challenges and future moments of your life. We all process the issues of life differently.
Every once in a while, we need to remember who we are. It is my intention that the words will spark thought, movement, and action.
More importantly, it is my hope that looking at life through wider binoculars will broaden and deepen your appreciation for yourself.
A good friend once told me James, once you put the book out there, it’s out there.
Well, it’s out there. ENJOY!!!
Acknowledgements
Carl Banes - Want can I say? You are the additional brother always there with great advice, support, true and honest dialogue. I can’t thank you enough . You, my closest confidant, are the epitome of friendship. Thank you for showing me what the gift we call friendship is all about.
Crystal Spann - Your loving words of support never fell on deaf ears. That statement goes back to our days in elementary school when we were trying to figure out this thing called Life. Thanks so much for words of encouragement. Continue to be the blessing you are not only to me but to the world.
Darren Hutchinson - Darren, you have been a part of this adventure since its inception. Those early morning breakfast discussions, brain storming sessions where the genesis of this book occurred. Thanks a million times over brother. I think Abe would be proud of both of us.
Susana Guerra - Thank you for being my muse, my devil’s advocate, my wall to bounce ideas, thoughts, impressions, and deeper thoughts off and helping me make sense of them. Also reassuring me that not knowing is the beginning of true thought.
Xenia Hennington - Thanks for your honest words, support and showing me that getting to zero point in thought and action is just the beginning of true growth, understanding and compassion. Also that quieting the mind allows one to listen to the essence of the body, the spirit, and the universal flow is truly the beginning of inner wisdom. And that Kundalini Yoga is fun!
About the Author
James DeBerry Jr. - College graduate - Memphis State University, former United States Army Officer - Medical Service Corps., Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management. James has been blessed to travel the world, meet and work with amazing people who have taught him more than what is contained in colleges and textbooks. Life is worth living and living well. James learned that the easy way and the hard way. One lesson learned is that every day and every moment is an opportunity for you to make it, break it, fix it, or be it; for whatever your definition of it
may be at this time in your life. This fact encompasses all or none of the above possibilities. Just remember, life is choice, your choice, and your decisions; just make one and watch the magic happen!
