PREFACE
In my brief and beautiful life, I have had the great fortune of meeting, knowing and conversing with many beautiful and knowledgeable people. Whether they were farmers, indigents, or well-educated individuals, all were teachers in their various guises. I love these people, who have come from the four corners of the world. Some were devout Christians, Hindu, Muslim or agnostic, however, all expressed a wisdom which, for me, gave the impetus to the search. In this search, I have found a magnificence within the human spirit, of which is spectacular and profound and most sincerely found in all degrees of human development. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for all you have given me, in greater or lesser understanding on my part. Thus, I ask you, the reader, to equally recognize the beauty of who we are, as a species, as Humanity. These people have brought me great gifts. There simply are not words to express my thanks nor gratitude for what they have given me. Bless all.
The stories and experiences within this text are accurate accounts of differing periods of my Journey. They are included in support of the teachings of this manual. I cannot say to you, the reader, overcome and shine, without showing you that I, too, have met and to a great extent, overcome challenges and obstacles. I am still working on my movement forward. This is my duty, my desire, my intent.
My deep gratitude and acknowledgement to Shadow Fox; for her endearing patience and encouragement in guiding me through my total incompetence in working with a computer and for her insights, comments, and faith concerning this works content. Thank you; my love is with you.

FOREWORD
With every breath, each person is a decision away from either taking action or re-action; this pertains to any situation, perception, insult or compliment. How you respond is determined by emotional focus. Do you really trust your own validation? Will you choose to allow your ‘little light’ to shine? People sing, talk, and reference this light, however, not many truly know the origins or the significance of this expansive, ‘magnificent light’ that resides in all of us.
Lee Two Hawks teaches from life experiences or lessons, you may identify with some, others you may not, however, the choice is how we find expression. A common statement such as, Well, if I can do it, so can you.
I’d respectfully disagree, as if that statement were to help encourage or motivate someone. No two people have the same experiences to draw upon, even within the same circumstance. If you are seeking; Lee Two Hawks offers, tools, keys and steps to allow that magnificent expansion of self; if you are seeking ~ those answers will be found within. There is nothing ‘little’ about it!
No matter where you reside on this path of life, Lee Two Hawks, shares not only how to overcome adversity, but to ignite the light of who you are. He shows the way and shares the path to live a life with purpose, thus, done effectively with grace, dignity, divinity, courage, and love. He brings insight of the Micro and Macrocosm of ‘Cosmic Awareness’ into his teachings.
I hold the utmost respect and love for this beautiful teacher that has truly blessed us for walking the path that few have chosen. He shows individuals a way to free themselves from bondage. I am honored to walk beside him, for this is in fact, our journey. Let your light shine and may you gracefully understand all lessons.
Shadow Fox author of, Want not and be Open to Receive.
PRELUDE: BE WITH ME
Be with me. I ask the family of Humanity to stand firmly in the resolve for true community. Be with me. Think, act, intend to become the developed spiritualized human entity, moving forward in the accommodation of right will, right thinking, right action – those attributes aligned with Divine will, Divine thinking (consciousness), Divine action. Opposed to this fiat are those forces of greed, intolerance, materialism, hatred, the drive to economic, political, social, emotional, intellectual power, jealousy, manipulation, control, despair, depression, dereliction of personal responsibility to self and others, self-loathing, self-pity, self-degradation, fear, etc. – all of which are so presently customary and prevalent.
Be with me. Intrepidly pursuing the heightened awareness of that beneficent Self which abides in each one of us; incessantly curtailing the desire to abuse the choice of humanness and all its attendant foibles; uncritically involved with the elevation of the consciousness of the human family; imbued with the integrating factor of synthesis – of group involvement - one for one, one for all.
Be with me. In love with Love, attendant to those who seek expansion, dutiful to those who deny the breath and pulse of the expressive Being we call Soul, kind to those who struggle with their impotence of heart, patient with those who create conflict out of their denial of their own true essence, tolerant of those whose choice is to abdicate their personal responsibility and in this abdication are so intolerant of those whom do not do as they do.
Be with me. Celebrate life. Celebrate each breath. Celebrate each other. Cherish the moment, no matter how seemingly harsh. Cherish family. Cherish community. Inundate yourself with gratitude, with grace, with joy. Seek the fabric that intertwines one with all and rejoice. Be of heart. Be of courage. Be of greatness. Bring forward kindness. Bring forward tolerance. Bring forward honest intent. Stand tall in the midst of chaos and carry forward healing to the faint of heart, the fearful, the beaten. Immerse yourself in and with that vibrant vitality which everywhere abounds. It is there in the earth, the sky, the stars, the very air you inhale.
Be with me. Realize your inheritance as a unique and valuable entity on this earth plane and, yes, beyond. Sing in sorrow, dance in adversity. Laugh in great grievance. Be the warrior, ever poised, ever ready, ever immaculate.
CHAPTER ONE
INITIAL STEPS
Strange Happenings
I was a stupid ugly little kid nobody wanted. I was nobody’s child.
I stood alone in the hay field and cried. I didn’t know why. I was alone in a manner which I could not express nor understand. Even with my brother, the bright outgoing kingpin of my stability, I was alone. It was unfathomable. My four year old mind could not formulate this deepness, this void, nor my heart understand this anguish. I felt haggard and aged, tired. As I dropped to the ground, heavy, burdened, sad, weeping, I felt a Presence. Though no one had ever physically hugged me, I knew this Presence was embracing me. Though I did not know the word, I knew this was love. Though I knew only turmoil, I knew this was peace.
I saw her then- this beautiful Indian woman, her long black hair brushing against my child-face, her eyes luminous with grace. I felt her move within me, about me. I felt protection, and beauty, and gratitude. She said, The cauldron of fire purifies and strengthens. This path you have chosen is difficult, but perfect. You are the seed sheltered in the winter storm.
I had no understanding of what she spoke, but did, for the briefest of moments, know only comfort, calmness, and, yes, strength.
The Life aspect which manifests in all forms- planets, solar systems, suns, humanity, enters and attaches itself in the heart of man, through the sutratma which is not a single cord but an intertwined confluence of life and consciousness, the consciousness attaching itself in the head center.
The blood distributes the force we call Life for regeneration and coordination of the physical form. The brain responds to the consciousness force, activating and controlling the neurological pathways bringing about the awareness of the body to its multiple facets and to the environment through the sensory input. The creative thread (fused with the consciousness thread) is active today in its ability to reframe past-life consciousness into spiritual awareness and overt manasic action. This manasic (mental) action blended with pure intent, desire, and will opens the potential for the eventual building of the rainbow bridge, the antahkarana which will connect from the root chakra up the sushumna to the sutratma and hence to the upper mental plane and through great endeavor on to the Monad. This creates a direct linkage from the physical to the Soul to the Monad. Blessed, indeed, is the one who brings this into manifestation - for the greater Journey has begun.
Death, pain, fear, sorrow, anger, hate-is this truly the lot of the human family? Torture, shame, debilitation, frustration, poverty - is this truly an acceptable premise for us? Greed, despair, inequity, famine, disease - really? Corruption, manipulation, tyranny, tragedy – is this truly our vision, our ideal, our faith? Kill the animals. Kill the air. Kill each other. Kill our children.
War
Whaddya got there, buddy?
Mmmm….dead body, I reckon.
Kinda stiff.
Yeah, been here a while, I ‘spect.
Whaddya think—bullet, bomb?
Dunno.
Well, one less to fight. Let’s saddle up
Ambush! Down!
Shit, we’re in for…….
Buddy? Buddy?
The 100 degree heat made it hard to breathe. Six months of this, six months to go. The bullet blew by my head. The RPG was a lot closer.
Train yourself to integrate everything that is useless or is in any way undesirable, for one who continues with unpleasant memories creates over and over for himself similar experiences of misery, or pain, or sorrow. The very thing he is trying to free himself from becomes that which continuously assaults.
When integration is complete, using the tools of forgiveness, forbearance, tolerance, patience and understanding, the emotional body (astral form) is peaceful and comfortable with its environment, powerful and impregnable from outer disturbances. The practice becomes the principle bringing strength and courage and fortitude to move forward.
There were five of them coming closer and closer. The explosions and rifle fire were deafening, disorienting. I was out of ammunition. When the five charged, I rushed at them madly swinging my rifle, crazed, bloodied. The bayonet ripped my side and I tumbled, tumbled…. They followed…. (I watched his eyes, as crazed as mine as he plunged the bayonet, oh, so luxuriously into my neck.)
There were five of them coming closer and closer….
There were five of them coming…..
There were five of them….
There were five….
There were…..
I’m tired of the nightmares, the scattered remnants of myself dissolving in grief, anger, night after night after…..
One now came closer. I could see him, smell him. I was sweating, angry, but as he charged, I stood, arms at my side. Something in my eyes made him stop. We looked at each other. He dropped his rifle, came closer. We stood toe to toe, and yes, we cried, together, we cried. We embraced. He dissolved. I dissolved. The nightmare ended, forever.
My tongue is heavy with unspoken words, swollen with the passion to express them. Language as a symbol can only be a marker for a greater voice, the voice of experience, of insight, of perception. The sounding of words, though moving, exact, seeds the listener with ideation or provocative response.
My tongue is heavy with unspoken words. Words formatted out of vision, understanding, the willingness to listen, to heed. The greatest story, the most sublime wisdom of our age, lies not in the construct of language, but in listening; for there is much given
