About this ebook

"Love and Meditation: The Keys to Manifestation" shows readers from all walks of life how to manifest their desires. This can only be done through self-love and meditating. Throughout the book, Jeremy Wright provides personal examples of how he defined and learned to love himself after using a hands-on approach to deal with his trauma. With a mental health professional's guidance, Jeremy began to identify how trauma impacted the way he showed up in life. Wanting to be a better person, Jeremy dove headfirst in an effort to unpack the life events that created so much trauma. He unknowingly started a process of becoming self-aware, honoring his highest purpose in life.

Jeremy's efforts to unpack these life events evolved into seeking the more profound meaning of life. The universe responded to this request by allowing more opportunities for Jeremy to crack open to his core, providing him time and a chance to start new. Meditation offered Jeremy the safe space to face hard truths and identify life's interconnectedness and meaning. The more Jeremy meditated, the more he aligned with his higher sense of self, motivating him to honor his highest purpose in life.

The opportunity to manifest exists at the intersection of self-love and leading with a higher sense of self. Using a simple process in this book, Jeremy helps readers define love and meditation to manifest their desires. With eyes on making the world a better place, Jeremy encourages readers to manifest things that align with their highest purpose in life; everything else will follow.

Book Intention and The Secret Garden

The intention of this book is to help people understand the importance of loving themselves and thus others, consistently practicing meditation, and how to manifest their desires. I hope you are encouraged to love yourself enough to create an environment that physically, mentally, and spiritually allows you to be the best version of yourself. The driving force to make this a reality is love of self. Sometimes the journey of becoming the best version of yourself requires going to the most inner parts of who you are; meditation is a gateway. Through this gateway, you may find trauma and hurt but just beyond all of this is the dwelling place of your highest sense of self, which is the connection to source. Some may call this source God. In this dwelling place, an inner sacred place where time does not exist, you can answer the questions of your heart, birth what your mind creates, and get direction to honor your purpose in life.

In my first book, I introduced this dwelling place as The Secret Garden; a place that no one knows exists until you invite them in. We enter into The Secret Garden when we learn to focus on what is happening right in front of us. Smelling the scent of a candle, closing your eyes and listening to water in the background, or feeling the sensation in your hands and feet are great focal points of the present moment. Putting our focus on the present moment allows us to gain control over the rampant thoughts in our minds. Controlling these thoughts makes space for our highest sense of self to step forth and guide us in doing what is best. When we do not make space for our higher sense of self to lead; we are operating with our small mind. The small mind is a constrained version of us operating as our best self not being able to see beyond the past or future; we are in survival mode. Allowing your higher sense of self to lead heightens your spiritual sight, hearing, and thinking in many ways.

The intentional choice to love yourself, be guided by your highest sense of self, and manifest things that are aligned with your purpose benefits you in unimaginable ways. Not only will you be fulfilled, but your needs will also be taken care of, and the world will become a little more peaceful. If we stop and think that life is not about us but servicing people with our purpose, there remains one question. Who are we to squander something not given to us to hold but give to the world as we are operating as the best version of ourselves?

    Dear Me,

People often say that they wish they could go back in time and change things, and I say love yourself and meditate. I would go on a limb and say that the journey of going through what we have was challenging but well worth the limitless possibilities because of practicing self-love and meditation. It is through self-love that you made peace with what has been done and cannot be changed. Love is something that we will continue to practice first with ourselves and then with others. It’s genuinely been one of the ways that we have gotten to where we are now.

By putting ourselves first, we have shown up for people in a more authentic, effective, and intentional way. Through meditation, you reflected from a place of clarity to identify the root and impact of your behaviors that were not advantageous to our life. Meditation was supplemented with a mental health professional who helped you face our trauma and hurt head-on. This new found understanding gives us the ability to make sounder decisions, knowing that there is an impact beyond what we can see. Loving yourself, meditating, and facing the hard truth helped you reveal who we indeed are. This daily practice of self-love and favorable conscious decisions is leading us to a life of fulfillment.

Telling our story and painting a clear picture of how love and meditation is key to living a beautiful life will save people time and energy. We must clearly convey the importance of ensuring that love and meditation is the air that people must breathe. I can see millions of people being positively impacted by this book as a result of those who read it, allowing their higher sense of self to lead. These people who lead with their higher sense of self will go into the world, making sound decisions in a way that convicts those who they interact with to do the same. I can feel the shift of energy that will take place as a result of people restoring themselves. It is such a beautiful thing to visualize people’s lives changing because they routinely practice love of self and meditation.

With all of the unconditional love from within,

    The ME behind me

    Dear Reader,

I am writing this book to you as if I were writing it to myself when I was in a place of openness to receive the impossible. I know just through my little experience of life that it can be challenging to put yourself first and operate from a place of clarity. I hope you see how I began defining love of self and began making more intentional decisions for my well-being after dealing with my trauma and hurt head-on. I want you to embrace yourself in a way that you never even thought was possible. Embrace the good, bad, and ugly of who you are because this is a part of what makes you unique and capable of great things. All of this is necessary to fulfill your purpose in life. Everything you have encountered is for a reason and will never serve its positive intent until faced head-on.

It is challenging to love yourself when you have never been taught to do so, have harbored a lot of negativity, and have internal noise distracting you. I want you to walk away with your own definition of love. I want to teach you how to operate from a place of clarity so that you can adequately deal with anything that comes your way. I want to help you manifest things that align with your purpose in life and the desires of your heart. I sincerely mean when I say this, you are capable of all things that you put your mind to. Come along on this journey with me; I’ll hold your hand.

With all of the unconditional love that I have,

    Jeremy

Since the last time we talked, I left off in excitement about what 2020 will bring; The Secret Garden is my way of life. A part of my current and ongoing process is chipping away at old habits; I am very human. We all make mistakes. The Secret Garden was indeed one of the best things that happened to me. Finding The Secret Garden within myself has tilted my world to help me see differently, for my good. What has helped me with trusting the process to the point that I can clearly see how things are unfolding perfectly is The Secret Garden’s clarity and peace. It is essential to point out that just because someone has it somewhat figured out, doesn’t mean that it becomes easier.

When one knows better, one must actively choose better. I must actively choose to allow my higher sense of self to lead. I must actively choose to trust the process. I must actively choose to allow the process to unfold and not try to control it. I must actively choose not to fulfill certain desires. I must actively choose to show love and grace as I recognize any energy that I disperse comes back to me; this can be difficult. Continually practicing this has built a muscle of pausing, going inward to reflect, and making the soundest decisions I can with what I have available to me. An example of this is me accepting another job with my same employer, which makes nine years with them. In addition to this job, I moved to Texas, which I have been manifesting for a while, I am in graduate school again, I broke off a long-distance relationship to someone who I know would have moved heaven and earth for me, I have strengthened my relationship with my mom by talking through some tough conversations, watched people’s consistent actions close enough to see where the gap may be in their decision-making and even the gaps in our relationship, placed countless circles of energy around myself to keep me safe and protected as I continue to do necessary work, and so much more.

Even though I cannot see the end of this process with my physical eyes, I know that all of these things were necessary for the process to unfold to what it will always be. Again, I have to say that this work is not easy; I am doing my best to actively choose things aligned with my purpose in life. Helping people operate at their highest potential through self-awareness is not a mountain that is easy to climb. I practice what I preach to say I have done the work or at least be found doing the work. If I want someone to take what is relevant to them from what I am saying and apply it to their
