Regaining Your Focus in 6 Steps - Michael W

    Introduction

You are working on a project but something distracts you. You keep on working as this was a one-time deal. However, minutes later you get distracted again and you shift over to another project, you then get a phone call and then you need to check some emails. Later in the day you look back and realize that you never got back to working on the first project that you started. Does this sound familiar to you?

Some people multi-task, claiming that it is necessary. Multi-tasking still requires you to focus. Whether you are a multi-tasker or a single-tasker, to get stuff done, you have to learn to focus on the task you are doing and stop the distractions that are breaking your focus.

This may sound like it is difficult but the key is to follow a process that keeps your attention and also keeps you on track for the moments when you may get distracted.

This book will take you through a six-step process that will help you to stay focused. If you find that your mind is wandering when you are reading it, it is okay it is natural. But use these situations to try to understand how your mind works which
