She then went on to pursue her career in medicine and received her Masters Degree from University of Florida College of Medicine. She has undergone specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to become a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. After spending 5 years in Family Practice and Cardiology, she decided over 2 years ago to devote her full time practice to smoking cessation. Brigitta has been nationally recognized for her professional efforts and works daily to help people quit smoking. She gives practical advice and writes in a down to earth style that is easy to understand. She is very passionate in her belief that ANYONE can stop smoking and works enthusiastically to guide and support smokers as they face this challenge.     I have helped hundreds of smokers to quit for good. You can join them. I will equip you with all the tools needed to ensure success! I would like to acknowledge Dave Ramsey who has motivated me to write this book by observing his success during my participation in Financial Peace University. I am forever thankful for all I have learned from him. I hope you will feel the same about me after reading this book.

    I chose the title because success is one of my favorite words in the English language. It is something I have strived for all of my life. If you apply the principles in this book, you too can be successful at quitting smoking for good!

    So, you must want to quit smoking. Otherwise, I guess you would not have purchased this book. Or maybe a friend or spouse bought the book for you trying to get you to quit. Let me begin by stating, If you don’t want to quit, this book will not help you. The absolute first step on the road to quitting is having the desire and motivation to stop using tobacco. If you do not truly have the desire to quit, you will not succeed.
