    Better eating means you must give up all junk food. If you want to be healthier, the best place to start is with your diet. The green juicing diet is packed with nutrients and the diet will help to bring the body to a healthier condition. The metabolism diet is also a great diet that will help to give you more energy, which will greatly help you to feel better. The idea behind the metabolism diet is to boost the energy so you will feel like being more physically active. The body needs physical activity to help it be at its healthiest. Combining these two diet plans gives you the best start to creating a healthy lifestyle.

    You can go about the diet plans in this book several ways. You can go on one diet for a while, then the other, depending on what health conditions you are trying to correct. Are you trying to lose weight? Are you trying to help lower high blood pressure, cholesterol, or blood sugar? Maybe you just want to be on these diets to bring about a healthy lifestyle change.

    It is perfectly okay to combine the two diet plans and may even make it easier to follow. The green juicing diet is okay alone, but some people have a hard time drinking nothing but juice all the time. Some juicing diet plans allows for one meal a day and if you wish to follow this you can choose a meal from the metabolism boosting diet. Or you may wish to only eat one meal of juice or just do the juice recipes for the snacks. However, you wish, you can count on the fact that all the recipes in this book are highly nutritious and you can follow a well-balanced meal plan.

    Dieting Success Tips

    If you want to make this dieting lifestyle change to be healthier, you must forego all junk food. While you can stop the junk food all at once, you may suffer from junk food withdrawal. Junk food is a real addiction and causes people to suffer the consequences if they try to stop. It is as real an addiction as smoking cigarettes. All bad habits like smoking, drinking, and even drug use causes horrible side effect withdrawals that are so unpleasant people will often just keep doing the bad habit just to keep from suffering through withdrawal.

    Tip: Break the Junk Food Habit

    To break a bad habit successfully takes the body about three weeks. This is true for most physical bad habits, including smoking and alcohol addiction. Sometimes bad habits take longer to break. What happens if you do not give the body at least three weeks to overcome the bad habit? You may suffer from the withdrawals symptoms, which for junk food includes intense food cravings, headaches, and mood swings. These symptoms are often the culprit behind dieting failure. Before you even begin, do something to prevent these terrible withdrawal symptoms and make the dieting change easier.

    Start your new diet and your new healthy lifestyle changes by taking about three weeks to wean from junk food. One way to wean is to keep a food journal and see how many times you eat junk food in a day on average. Then take that number and over a three-week period start eliminate the number of times you are consuming junk food during the day until you run out of junk food times. This is a good slow wean.

    Another easier way to wean is to start by eating junk food three times a day for about five days. On the sixth day cut down to eating junk food just twice a day for the next five days. On the third five days cut to eating junk food just once a day. The rest of the three-week periods eat junk food every other day. By the time three weeks hit you should have overcome your intense junk food cravings.

    The easiest way to wean from junk food is to take it three weeks and on week one, eat junk food just once a day. On week two, eat junk food every other day. On week three, eat junk food every three days. If you still find after doing any of the above weaning suggestions, you may want to keep increasing the number of days between eating junk food until you eventually have it at only once a week. If you can do that, you can follow the diet without a lot of trouble.

    Tip: Physical Activity

    The body thrives on physical activity. Unfortunately, the busy lifestyles of today leave little time for physical activity. This leads to a sedentary lifestyle that causes us to have health issues like excessive weight gain, which leads to even more health concerns. The body needs to be in motion in order to be healthy. It does not take a lot of exercise to maintain a healthy body and when people realize this they can easily add in exercise routines throughout the week to help achieve a healthy lifestyle.

    All you need to do is just a half an hour of good physical activity every other day to make a difference with your health. You can do something as simple as walking or you can join a gym, take classes, and run gym circuits. You can dance, swim, run or jog, ride a bicycle, join a sports team, or do aerobics. The point is to spend a good half an hour doing something physical enough to break a sweat and bring your heart rate up. If you take a leisurely walk and never break a sweat, that isn't as good, (though it's better than nothing) as when you break a good sweat.
