About this ebook

Cole was looking forward to eating one of the turkeys that they had raised from chicks.  His wife Haylee and her twin sister Kaylee were shocked when he suggested fixing one of them for Thanksgiving dinner.  The women had made pets out of them and had even named them Tom and Tammy.

Cole was determined though to have a nice home-grown turkey for Thanksgiving.  From there things went downhill and almost ruined his happy home.

This is a funny short story and is suitable for all age groups.

Dedication to my dad who raised some turkey chicks for Thanksgiving.

I was sitting on the front porch steps watching the turkeys walking around the yard.  My name is Cole and I live with my wife Haylee and her twin sister Kaylee on a small farm although we have jobs in town.  The women allow the turkeys to run out with the chickens.  The turkeys had prospered and were fully grown now.

I could remember when I had taken my wife Haylee and her sister Kaylee to a feed store last spring in our old red pickup. They had been fascinated with the little turkey chicks so wanted to buy a couple.
