About this ebook
This is a collection of three funny short stories.
Husband Won't Buy Wife a Kindle
This is a short story about a husband that won't buy his wife a Kindle since he thinks they are a fad and cost too much money. He discovers that his happy home is about to crash and burn due to his tightness with money.
This short story is based on a true story, and she did get a Kindle, which she really loves.
Old Ladies Who Love Porn
Sam was going to throw his old DVD porn collection away, but his wife Betty talked him into giving it to her 70 year old friend Patsy. Patsy and her friend Mary got to worrying about having porn in their houses so started trying to get rid of it. This funny short story is about their efforts to get rid of the porn.
This short story was based on an actual event. As near as I know, neither old lady has managed to get rid of this porn yet. Maybe they don't really want to?
Senior Love Triangle
My older friend Bob came by one day and told me a strange story. He had been dating Esther, a widow woman for a while. Charlie, a stranger, called Bob and asked if he was dating Esther. Bob said he was; Charlie said he was too. So they both went over to her house for a meal that evening. She confessed that it was happening and she was seeing both of them. She blamed it on the two of them though since she said that they didn't give her enough affection. Charlie said he was willing to be part of a senior love triangle, but Bob wasn't sure.

Husband Won't Buy Wife A Kindle
Ralph, my friend Marcie has a Kindle that her husband bought her. She loves it, so I think I would like one too.
I looked at her in disbelief. Does this woman think that money grows on trees?
Isn't your friend Marcie handicapped and has a hard time holding a regular book? I can see why her husband would buy her one of those reading devices.
Yes, she is,
Gloria said, staring at me. But Kindles are neat and fun to read. You don't have to be handicapped to want one.
Well, I am not going to spend a bundle of money on a Kindle when you could go to the library and check out a book if you want to read?
She looked at me and decided to appeal to my thrifty side. It costs money to drive to the library to get DTBs, so they are hardly free. Then I have to drive to the library to return them. If I buy books from Amazon, I have to pay postage which costs money.
I was going to say, then don't buy books from Amazon, but thought better of it. What is a DTB?

she said, smiling.
"A Kindle only costs about double what a
