IN CONVERSATION WITH Milly JOHNSON
Milly Johnson’s love for writing and her readers is infectious. Her books are funny, heartwarming, moving and clever – and they strike a chord with readers all over the world. Together, Again is a story about sisters helping each other to recover from the scars of their childhood and overcoming adversity.
Milly was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and still lives there with her partner and Eurasier dog called Bear, two rescue black moggies, Vince and Theo, and a rescue white rabbit called Alan. She has two grown-up sons.
I’ve seen writers in this industry who have been around a long time, and they topple. Suddenly their books aren’t selling and there’s no rhyme or reason to it, so I never take anything for granted. My publisher grew me steadily.
