About this audiobook

I’m stuck sharing a house with my hot new boss…And I just walked in on him in the shower.

Landing a major interior design contract for the new winery in Dogwood Cove is supposed to be my fresh start. But sharing a house with the annoyingly sexy winemaker Finn McNeil? That wasn’t part of the plan…

To make it worse, Finn’s made it very clear he doesn’t want me around - at work, or anywhere else.

I’m determined to win him over with my charm and professionalism. Not only do I need this job, but this town has become more than a place to earn a living, it’s become home.

Which is why giving into the undeniable attraction we feel could spell disaster for both of us.

Dogwood Cove is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to visit.
When Finn needs a change in scenery from the California winery, Dogwood Cove is the perfect place. Not only is his best friend the mayor here, he has an amazing opportunity in co-owning a winery start up. His dreams and promises of bringing his grandfather’s grapes to Canada can now come true. But when his business partner decides to hire an interior designer to design the tasting room, he has serious reservations. Initially, he feels its money they should save, but little does he know how this bombshell interior designer has the ability to change his life forever.
Ashley has lived a privileged life despite the fact that it has been just her and her dad as long as she can remember. she has never tried to take advantage of her dad‘s connections, but in starting a new interior design business, she jumps at the opportunity to design at his friends winery. Upon arrival to Dogwood Cove, she finds herself loving the charm of small town living. The people are always friendly and inviting and seem to genuinely want to get to know her. And the brick wall of a man she runs into coming out of the coffee shop just might give her incentive to take the job.
The dynamics between Finn and Ashley were electric. Even though there were reservations, the attraction was undeniable. Finn’s friends could see it & they welcomed Ashley with open arms. Their witty banter was phenomenal & entertaining.

    Audiobook Review:
Heather Firth & Neill Thorne were the absolute perfect picks for these characters. Their passion & emotions shown through their voice acting completely embodied these characters.

    Audiobook Review
Narrators: Heather Firth & Neill Thorne

Ahhh this was such a fun book to listen to! Both narrators just knocked it out of the park! You could hear the humor in the funny moments and the heartbreak in the sad ones!

Every book I read of Julia Jarrett's I fall just a little more in love with her writing and the small town of Dogwood Cove. This story was all about Finn and Ashley. Finn was the sexy, backwards hat wearing wine maker trying to make his dreams a reality by starting up his own winery, complete with tasting room.
Ashley is a big city interior designer who is looking for more meaningful connections in her life.
She ends up in Dogwood Cove interviewing for the position of designing the winery's tasting room.
Finn is so grumpy with her at first because that attraction to Ashley takes him by surprise and he is trying to keep things professional. But when the house he is renting suddenly becomes uninhabitable he has to find an Airbnb and suprise! he has a housemate!
It was also really sweet seeing the other couples from previous books. They really embrace Ashley and Finn and try to support them as a couple.
This book did not disappoint on the spice or the sweet moments either.
I would highly recommend picking up this audiobook!
