A sexy opposites attract standalone novel from USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak.
I have a type.
I love the good guy.
Responsible and stable. Safe.
So when a beer-drinking, quick-witted, tattooed hockey player asks me to tutor him, I'm suddenly thrust into the world of bad boys and bad decisions.
Jordan is a renowned player on campus.
He doesn’t take anything seriously, except hockey and partying.
But he gives me butterflies.
I’m a wallflower tutoring Valley University’s hottest player.

The back story... The h has a major crush on a straight laced hockey player and ends up getting partnered up with him and his best friend (the bad boy hockey player) in Physics class. They all become friends and she develops more of a friendship with the reputed bad boy.
Romance or Gist: The relationship starts out mostly as attraction but develops more when he asks her to tutor him.
The drama explosion... The H loses it for a very minor reason.
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Very contrived
Was it OTT? Extremely
Separation involved? Yes
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Properly, see final notes)
Final Notes... This story was a solid 3.5 - 4 Stars from me (which is very good) until the drama explosion. His reason was selfish but he was honest with her about everything. She even stops him when he was trying to tell her earlier in the relationship with 'the past is in the past' statement. He essentially used a ruse to keep her from a guy that she was initially interested in and then developed a strong relationship with her over several months. This would have been less of an issue except the none of her friends called her on it and the author puts all of the blame on the H. What happen in the future if something similar happens... Does he stay on eggshells? The epilogue is 5 years in the future but it just rubbed me the wrong way.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I really liked the book! It was cute. Loved the two main characters. “Sweet” daisy and Jordan. The narrators were good for the book. Overall rating 4/5, spice level 1-2/5. Hope to hear more from this couple.
Violet was my least favorite character until towards the end, she wasn’t supportive to daisy. I believe her book is next, hopefully her book is good anyway. And doesn’t drag on too much.1 person found this helpful
