I found myself cringing so much throughout this audiobook....until I finally realized, it wasn't the writing that was terrible, it was the NARRATION. That's why I went ahead and gave this book 4 stars. I wanted to give the author the benefit of the doubt, because when I started listening to the WORDS, and tried to separate them from the awful inflection of the narrator, I realized she was not a bad writer, and that there were portions that might have been really touching to me, if the words had been delivered with ANY sense of nuance.

I hate to dump this much on the narrator, but...yeah...she ruined this whole book for me.

Cute closed door romance. Love it - real emotions and light humor. Realistic. Great narrator too. All around it’s a book I’ll probably listen to again - and I’ll be looking for more from this author and the narrator.

I would sum this up as : Hallmark movie in a book. Cute and clean story!! Loved it!
