About this audiobook

Sloane De Carlo is going to have to move to Antarctica.

As if it wasn't bad enough that she accidentally made her private blog very public, and all her innermost secrets and embarrassing moments are trending, now the entirety of the Internet is dying to know who her all-consuming, never-get-over-him crush "Guy" really is. She's even got a literary agent dangling a book deal in front of her nose—but there's a catch. She'll have to get closure with "Guy" and give her story that pitch-perfect ending.

Too bad the real "Guy" is engaged to someone else. #Blessed

The only person in her teeny hometown of Arbor Bay who knows the truth is local bartender Brady Knox. And he's not telling . . . for a price. He'll pretend to be Sloane's "Guy" if she'll use her newfound Internet fame to bring more business to his struggling local bar. Brady's always been a lone wolf, but there's something about the pint-sized, supremely awkward, yet beautiful Sloane that charms him.

But keeping secrets in a small town like Arbor Bay isn't easy. And Brady was never meant to be the guy for a pitch-perfect ending . . .

Contains mature themes.

I liked this book, I didn’t like when writers feel the need to use the F word when is more about love.

I didn't really enjoy this book and barely managed to finish it. I always used to get confused when reviewers wrote that the author didn't show us how things were happening and rather told us. This book showed me the true meaning of that. It was really just all talk and no showing. I didn't feel any connection to the characters or the story, and I really didn't feel any chemistry between the characters. Also, the way characters revisited any past events or made any observation, it read more like stating a fact to clarify things for the reader. The reasons behind actions or scenes weren't made clear naturally over the course of the story, rather they were told to the reader almost directly. The whole story just didn't come together for me in writing. It was all wrapped up neatly with a bow in the end but the writing throughout the book was too disconnected for me. I've already forgotten most of this book so I am struggling to cite any specific examples. May be it was just the third person narrative that didn't work for me in this book.

Cute and charming. Enjoyed the tension and the sex scenes as well as the humor and chemistry. I wish it had had more online presence bc I read it for that, but it was a good diversion.
