About this audiobook

Robyn Bloom thought Ash Barnes was the love of her life – until one day he announced he was leaving her to fly halfway across the world.
Months later, Robyn is struggling to move on – but then she has a brainwave: The Never Have I Ever Club. Her handsome next-door neighbour Will helps her bring their fellow Yorkshire villagers together for some carpe-diem-inspired fun.

From burlesque dancing to Swedish massages, everyone has plenty of bucket-list activities to try, but it doesn't take long for Robyn to realise what – or who – her heart truly desires: Will.

There's just one problem: he's Ash's twin brother.

Make that two problems: Ash is moving home... and he wants Robyn back.

I'm kinda sad to be leaving this book only 3 stars, because I really enjoyed the middle of it, with Robyn and Will's growing relationship/attraction, and then the PINING, oh, I do love a good pining!

But it started sloooow, and the ending just drug on, and it was altogether just way longer than it needed to be, without the payoff to justify it.

Even though this book wasn't squeaky clean (language alert, especially), it had the FEEL of those cozy books about quaint little towns fully of quirky characters, and the unexpected little community of friends that develop.

I enjoyed the narrator as long as she was doing the female voice, but something about the way she did the male voices was NOT appealing.

So maybe this book ended up being a bit of a disappointment for me, but I will absolutely try another book by this author.
