Kenya Wright has a knack for creating wonderful character's that you really start to invest in and adore!
I was slightly disappointed that the two original narrator's didn't perform in this audio, but to be fair, Lacy Laurel (Shari Peele and Lacy sound very alike. I know some narrator's go by various, other name's, so I did wonder if that was the case here?) and Tristan Josiah were both really good, and they each really bought the book alive in vivid colour! Lacy's male voice's crack me up, she's so cute!
I want Roland and Ava's gran to have their own book! In fact, I hope more books come out of these character's because Maxwell defo' needs to have his own book! (Then Pavel, and Circuit, and Naveen... I could go on!... Haha :P)

This book was not as good as the the others in the “mouse” series. Ava was very annoying, which I guess was the point. Unnecessary questions and a overall distraction.

Also the Voice actor that played Maxwell was terrible in my opinion. He sounded whiny and forced. The one who played him in previous books was great.

Fun and humorous characters. Engaging storyline. Unfortunately, Lacy Laurel's narration takes me out of it. I had to fast forward through her narration sometimes, because it was so grating for me. I've had to do this with many of her book narrations.
