The story was good but the narration was awful. The woman's nasal and lackluster narration didn't seem to take into account punctuation or emotions. I won't even talk about her narration of men... As for the male narrator, same with regards to lackluster narration and let's be frank, he sounds Black and this is supposed to be BWWM. I'll avoid books by these narrators in the future.

Female voice actress WAY over sells every line. It's like she puts an h on the end of every sentence and the inflections are way Mae West. Too bad because interracial couples in romantice suspense thrillers are hard to come by and this is a decent book! Well developed storyline, not too obvious on the killer even if you do guess it too early. Good heat level.
Someone needs to either direct this actress better or stop hiring her. I almost skipped it because I recognized her name and I can't be the only one. The male actor was better but I kind of picked up on him being black which kept messing with my head lol

Really enjoyed this book! The ending, could have been better... as a trained FBI agent I would have held her breath for longer periods.

This is pretty decent story but Haven is the worst FBI agent ever. She’s never seen a dead body and can’t use her gun without freaking out….wtf. That being said I should’ve read the book. It’s definitely a great read.
Do Not Get The Audiobook!! The dialogue/ voice acting is so bad with the female character. She talks way too slow and over annunciates. It really takes you out of the book. It’s such bad narration it needs to be done again with different people….the voice of the woman is so odd and nasal af…,she sounds like the Hormone Monster from Big Mouth. Absolutely no one talks that. It’s so weird and annoying….the cadence is full on cartoon character.

Really good story with a lot of suspense and the right amount of sex. The banter between the characters was fun and added to making the characters relatable. I enjoy the work from this author.

Not a bad storyline. I kind of enjoyed the crime solving portion more so than I likes the romance portion but nonetheless it was a pretty good story. I would note, the male narration was a little off he sounded more AA then WM so if you go into with an open mind you may be able to move past the voice.
