About this audiobook
You can lead a Domme to love...but you can't make her fall.
Kate Dubois is a Domme-for-hire for the highly exclusive Hooded Pleasures, a service offering private BDSM sessions to those who can't--or won't--risk appearing in an actual club.
Lately, though, she wonders if professional burnout is causing her to have painful flashbacks to a past heartbreak. When her boss insists her next client will be a breath of fresh air, Kate reluctantly agrees to an interview.
Alex Hanson dominates the world of computer game programming, but secretly he suspects he might be a sub in the bedroom. There's only one good way to find out--hire a professional to show him the ropes.
Their first meeting puts both of them to the test--Alex's self-control, and Kate's realization she might just like him a little too much. But there's no denying their emotions are inextricably entangled...a dangerous step Kate's not sure her heart is prepared to take.
Warning: Contains a hard-core computer geek with a tender side, and a Domme who can't afford to expose her greatest weakness--him. Geekery combined with flogging. Enjoy!
Editor's Note
Power Plays...
The “Hooded Pleasures” is about a discreet business that caters to people interested in the BDSM lifestyle. In this series opener, the heroine is a Domme who works for the business, while the hero is a tech geek who thinks he might be a sub — and wants to experiment. Over the course of their business relationship they develop feelings for one another, which complicates their lives. Nantus’ writing is sharp and clean, and her characters are well-developed.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was a great BDSM read. My husband really loved this book too. And he didnt even read it?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5To be taken to the edge to only come to completion by oneself doesn't sound appealing. More about the spanking and whipping side of BDSM than anything else. If you're looking for foreplay, this has it. If you're looking for steamy, you won't find it here.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Alex is looking for a Domme so he applies at Hooded Pleasures. Kate works at Hooded Pleasures and is assigned to Alex. They are not to fall for each other but the attraction is strong. Kate does not believe she deserves Alex because of her past. Alex wants no one else. Who will prevail?I loved this book. The emotions between Alex and Kate are so strong. I wanted it all to work out for them. They have so much in common but Kate keeps the past too much in her present. Wendy, her boss, tells her the past is not her fault but Kate uses it to keep Alex at arm's length. Alex finally takes matters into his own hands and breaks the impasse between them. I look forward to the rest of the series.
