This is a fun, entertaining, quick read. Max and Lorelie are interesting, relatable, intriguing, entertaining, complex character. I enjoyed them as individuals and their romance – with all it’s twists and turns. Curtis once again packs a lot into less than 100 pages. This story works and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story. I loved that we got to see the characters from the first book in the series. The story is easy to read and get into.

I enjoyed the audio version of this story and the narrator.

I think it was a cute story and a clever plot line, however it was very quick and very rushed. No real character build— through Max & Lorelei I felt like I knew more about their parents then the characters themselves… and there was not really a climax build either.
