About this audiobook
Cathryn Stewart has managed to save enough money to visit her extended family in Britain for Christmas. But when bad weather grounds her connecting flight, Cat suddenly finds herself stuck in a little country called Monteval. The only person she knows in the small kingdom is the ex-boyfriend she never got over. Luckily, there’s no chance of ever seeing Anton Winter again.
Or so she thinks, until by sheer chance, she bumps into Anton at the airport. Cat wants nothing to do with the man who broke her heart, but Anton has a proposition for her. If she pretends to be his girlfriend during the holidays, he'll get her to her family for Christmas. There’s just one complication: Anton has to reveal the secret he’s kept from her all these years. He isn’t simply Anton Winter, the handsome foreign exchange student she dated in college.
He’s Anton von Winterhauser, Crown Prince and heir to the throne of Monteval.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This is a storyline of a hidden prince and lovestory where she doesn't know who he is. They have a sudden breakup and accidently meet 5 years later. I enjoyed this book.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The exaggerated emphasis on some words is just annoying. 1 chapter was enough to know I could not listen and enjoy the book with this narrator.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Sweet story. I needed a fantasy. But was the reader AI?
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The story would have gotten 3 stars but dropped 1 for the narrator.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I find the story too fairy tale( unreal), due to the narrator....
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I would’ve liked the book more if it had a narrator that read with more enthusiasm in her voice so that I had not skipped almost every chapter the book had. It seemed that the story would’ve been a good one, what a shame to waste words that wasn’t enjoyed.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good story, but PLEASE use a different reader! Her tones are just not warm or conversational. Very detached sounding and not the correct intonations.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Narrator ruined the book. I wonder if I would feel differently if the narrator was different
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I so like the story but just can’t listen to the voice of the narrator.

Um, Wow, Beyond Descriptive Sex - 8 or above
Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward?
The back story... The h is flying to England from California to see family and the plane makes a stop on Maldovia... Which just so happens to be where her ex-boyfriend is from. Bad weather will keep them there for a couple of days and she is going to be stuck at the airport. Shockingly enough, she runs into her Ex... Who just so happens to be the Prince. He invites her to stay with him until she can leave.
The Romance... If they can get past their angst, they might have a chance.
The drama explosion... The h overhears a conversation and then jackrabbits!
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? Completely contrived.
Was it OTT? 1000%
Separation involved? Short
Was it resolved properly or rushed? Resolved OK.
Final Notes... The story had a good chance to be a fun listen for me but the angst and head babble exceeded 60% of the novella.
The H only sees the h through rose-colored glasses. She throws a fit and he waxes poetic.
The h constantly dismisses any thought of a relationship.
The h, who went on and on about having no money or the ability to rent a hotel room, complains when the H wants to buy her a dress for the Ball. Really? My guess is that there isn't a Target there nor would a rack dress be sufficient for a Ball as the Prince's GF.
The H was willing to let the Government choose his GF?
The ending sequence drove me a bit insane. Why she ran... especially after tearing into the H for doing the same thing 5 years earlier. The H willing to give up without a fight when it came to the catalyst for the h running off... Ugh!
