Description
An open, honest, and entirely unscripted conversation about how self compassion can be practiced in the moment. We share our experiences of a recent major pre-planned event that did not go as expected due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. We share how self-compassion can be used in the moment when shame, embarrassment, anxiety show up. We also explore how when we see someone else in a moment of difficulty, we learn so much about them, ourselves, and our capacity for compassion and self-compassion. Mindfulness is the gateway to self-compassion. What we practice grows. When we practice mindfulness and self-compassion, we grow our capacity for both, and then we are able to bring forth even more compassion for others. Practice in the moment mindfulness and self-compassion with us in community at the Mindful Healers Retreat: Connect in Nature July 2022. All humans in healthcare are welcome. Learn more here.
