HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY if you are turning this magical age in 2023! I don't care if you dread it, haven't planned for it, or are excited for this next chapter - it is coming no matter what you say or feel. So you need to be ready.My friend Rachel Fagerberg, who herself is turning fifty, is with me today to contemplate that number, that age, how she is preparing, and what turning 50 means to her. There is something about turning fifty that makes us all reflective and with a tendency to do some of our own personal development. I did that. And Rachel is doing that. A few of the insights from this conversation:1.     Turning 50 is a moment for pause to reflect and look back at all of the phases of your life, those different journeys and to  realize that not having your life together 100% is pretty normal.2.     Fifty is definitely a time of personal growth. It’s the time you finally learn to set boundaries with intent so in order to be the best version of you without any regrets3.     Fifty is a time of mindset change and shifting priorities. For Rachel, she is I making herself a priority and realizing that she not going to please everyone, so she is giving herself permission to stop trying.This is also to time to really start to evaluate your overall health.
