Amir arrived in Los Angeles on a one-way ticket with not much to his name…and a dream. As a consummate networker, he forged a career path that has provided incredible opportunities and allowed him to continue to expand his skills and influence. He was down to the few final bucks in his pocket when an opportunity arose that eventually led to his current role at Netflix, where he focuses on building and leading their Employer Brand.
Although Amir is mid-career, the lessons that he has lived, learned and shared are of value to any career stage. He is also the author of “22 Life Lessons By Someone More F*cked Up Than You” and a soon-to-be first time filmmaker.

Growing up in Boston, Massachusetts, Amir Moini decided to move to Los Angeles in 2013 after completing Teach For America in Hawaii from 2011-2013. He began his career in nonprofit development at The Los Angeles LGBT Center, which opened the door for him to work at Netflix, focused on building and leading their Employer Brand.
In addition to his work at Netflix, Amir is a writer and upcoming filmmaker, focused on the horror genre. Some of Amir's hobbies include dance, yoga and travel.
