Katya Galbis es nutrióloga licenciada en el estado de Florida y se dedica a promover una alimentación basada en plantas a través de diferentes redes sociales. Le apasiona todo lo relacionado a la nutrición, por eso estudio la carrera de nutrición en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana de México. Es nutrióloga licenciada en el estado de la Florida y se dedica a promover una alimentación basada en plantas a través de diferentes redes sociales. Actualmente es miembro activo de la Academia de Nutrición y Dietetica o AND por sus siglas en inglés (Academy of Food and Nutrition), la organización más grande de nutriólogos/dietistas de los Estados Unidos. Es también miembro del grupo de nutricionistas Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, un subgrupo de AND, en el cual participa como Membership Chair y Coordinadora del estado de la Florida. Actualmente cuenta con la certificación de Nutrición Basa en Plantas de eCornell del Centro de Estudios en Nutrición de T. Colin Campbell, Medicina de Estilo de Vida y la certificación de Nutrición Vegetariana de la Academia de Nutrición y Dietética. La carrera de nutrición le dio las bases, sin embargo, la maternidad, el tiempo y su crecimiento como profesional de la salud fueron los que le hicieron ver que nuestra alimentación afecta positiva o negativamente, y directa e indirectamente, nuestra salud, la salud de todo el mundo, el medio ambiente y a otros seres vivos.
