[01:45] Why Dr. Donald Vega Got Involved In The Health and Nutrition Space Dr. Vega wanted to study medicine to be recognized. Eventually, he realized this would not be fulfilling. Dr. Vega’s mom had type 2 diabetes. After studying nutrition, Dr. Vega advised his mom to eat fewer carbs and more fats. After four months, his mom was able to reverse her type 2 diabetes. Eventually, Dr. Vega started a service where he trained people three times a week at the gym and would explain what lifestyle changes his clients should pursue. Dr. Vega doesn’t only teach his clients about diet and exercise; he teaches all about mindset, self-sabotage, and the subconscious mind. [22:20] The First Key To Health Is Getting Sunlight At The Proper Time The first key to health is sunlight. You need to expose your skin to sunlight at the proper time. Having sunshine between 10 am and 2 pm exposes your body to ultraviolet B rays. These rays will help your body produce vitamin D. Vitamin D is associated with better mood, and it will help with inflammation. Depending on your skin type, you may need between two and thirty minutes. [27:50] Another Key To Health Is Proper Sleep Hygiene We are designed to work during the day and recover during the night. Sadly, many people are working when they are supposed to be sleeping. Also, we have unlimited access to streaming services that keep us awake when we should be sleeping. When you’re not sleeping at night, you will not experience the benefits of anti-inflammatory properties during sleep. All in all, the longer you can sleep, the better your body will be able to recover. [30:15] Keys To Health: Electromagnetism and Spending Time Outside Grounding will help your body attract electrons. Put your bare feet out on the Earth. Also, remember to take off your sunglasses to benefit from having light in your eyes. Remember to spend time outside.
