In the first part of this Feature, Colby and McKenzie Bauer, co-Founders of Thread Wallets,  the innovative wallets that are low-profile, efficient, and look great. They are aiming to drive the market away from bulky and unflattering wallet alternatives. It all started with a lost wallet in Hawaii. They shopped for a replacement wallet but couldn’t find anything that was minimalist and expressed who they were. In the meantime, they were using a rubber band as a make-shift wallet. That’s when it hit them. The idea of ThreadWallets’s flagship product and the idea behind the brand was born. They decided that they would work on this project for 6 months and see what happens. They highlight the importance of their relationship as the company grew, and how impactful their marriage was on the brand.
