I was diagnosed as hyptensive in 2010. This book is about a technique I discovered for controlling my blood pressure. I wrote this book to help other people find an alternative or additional solution to their own hypertension. I've been doing this for 14 years and have had great results. I hope you will too.

    Introduction

    According to the World Health Organization, 1.3 billion people around the world have hypertension (2024). Almost half of those people are unaware they have it and less than one in five that are aware that they have hypertension have it under control.

    Their website also says that if you are overweight, not physically active, have a high-salt diet, drink too much alcohol, smoke, and have hypertensive ancestors (including parents), you increase your chances of becoming a member of those statistics.

    For most people, changing their diet, avoiding stress, avoiding alcohol and tobacco, may be doable. Engaging in physical activity, or exercise in other words, may be difficult for some. What else, then, can you do to bring down your blood pressure?

    It might surprise you but one of the ways to lower your blood pressure is to breathe.

    I'm not joking, I just left out a small detail. You can lower your blood pressure by breathing slowly.

    I've been using this technique for several years and it has worked for me. So, I decided to help other people with the same condition by sharing one of the techniques I use to control my blood pressure.

    How I Discovered It

    I was diagnosed as hypertensive back in 2010. I was prescribed medication and also told to start a daily walking exercise
