Those of you who know me will be aware that I have dedicated my life’s work to breathing. It is an essential function of the body which is often overlooked.
By understanding your breathing, you can literally improve your oxygen delivery to tissues and organs, enjoy a better night’s sleep and gain control over the mind. Without control of breathing, there is no control of the mind.
When instructed and practiced correctly, one can influence physiology, change states, build up resilience and live a life more fulfilling. Directly applied for conditions such as asthma, anxiety and panic disorder, it can be life changing for children and adults.
What may come as a surprise to many people is that the more air you breathe, the less oxygen is delivered throughout the body. Based on science and physiology, it is vital to understand how you can change your health and states of mind by changing breathing. With breathing you can improve your immune system and increase your resilience to stress. In as little as ten minutes per day, you will reap the benefits.
There are all tools that we need in our everyday life. The main benefit is that breathing is free and readily at our disposal.
