HERE'S A RECIPE FOR Caveman Chili Delight
:
Ingredients:
● 2 lbs ground beef
● 1 onion, diced
● 4 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 bell pepper, diced
● 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
● 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
● 1 can (14 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
● 1 can (14 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
● 2 tablespoons chili powder
● 1 teaspoon cumin
● 1 teaspoon paprika
● 1 teaspoon oregano
● Salt and pepper to taste
● Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, sliced jalapeños
Instructions:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the pot. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, drained kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
Bring the chili to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Taste and adjust seasonings according to your preference. If you prefer a thicker consistency, let the chili simmer uncovered for a bit longer.
