SIMPLE Healing Food

Turns out healing your gut via food doesn’t require a strict diet of bland foods, you can do it and enjoy dessert too. That’s according to Jo Whitton, founder of Quirky Cooking, who believes the simplest and most effective way to reclaim our health is to “embrace the traditional foods that have nourished humans for thousands of years.” Her fuss-free recipes are big on flavour and, as you’ll see from these pages, all about satisfaction. “Healthy eating shouldn’t involve food fads,” she says. “It should embrace simple and whole foods to nourish the gut, mind and body.” Bon appetit to that!
