    What's the Paleo diet?

The Paleo diet is a special, very natural diet. The word Paleo stands for Paleolithic, which means Old Stone Age. Accordingly, the diet is based on the diet of Stone Age people. However, this is not a real diet, but rather a form of nutrition that is intended to keep you healthy in the long term.

For us, the Stone Age diet means: Untreated, natural, no consumption of grains, no legumes and no dairy products. Stone Age users assume that people today no longer eat a species-appropriate diet. Therefore, the Paleo diet stands for a diet that is as clean and untreated as possible, relying exclusively on natural products.

The following foods are on the Paleo diet menu:

Meat and fish, eggs, salad, nuts, seeds, animal fat, fruits and vegetables.

You should pay attention to the following things:

No sugar, no legumes, no vegetable fat, no ready meals, no grains, no milk (and dairy products).

    Paleo for breakfast

    Low carb porridge

    Preparation:

In the first step, coconut milk, water, linseed and coconut flakes are placed in a pot and heated. Stir constantly and simmer for about 5-8 minutes until a thick mixture forms. In the meantime you can grate the apple/pear. Now add cinnamon, cocoa and salt and stir in. Serve the porridge in a bowl with toppings to taste. We recommend cacao nibs, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds.
