    Ingredients for Sauce

    • 1 1/2 cup mayonnaise

    • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

    • 2 tablespoon white vinegar

    • 1 tablespoons lemon juice

    • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

    • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard

    • 1 teaspoon salt & pepper

    • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Whisk everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust the seasonings if needed. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes.

    2. During the last few minutes of grilling, baste the chicken with some of the white BBQ sauce, allowing it to caramelize on the chicken or your meat of choice.

    6. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

    7. Serve the grilled chicken with additional white BBQ sauce on the side for dipping or drizzling.

Alabama White BBQ Sauce is a delightful change from traditional barbecue sauces, and it pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken, pork, or even as a dressing for coleslaw. Enjoy this Alabama favorite!

    ARIZONA SONORAN HOT SAUCE

Sonoran Hot Sauce is known for its bold and spicy flavor, inspired by the culinary traditions of the Sonoran Desert region. Here's a basic recipe for a Sonoran-style hot sauce that you can make at home.

    Ingredients for Sauce

    • 9-11 hot red chili peppers (such as Fresno or red jalapeños), stemmed and chopped

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 medium-sized tomato, chopped

    • 1 medium onion, chopped

    • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

    • Juice of 2 limes

    • Salt and Pepper to taste

    Instructions

    1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wear gloves when handling hot peppers to avoid irritation. Stem and chop the hot red chili peppers, mince the garlic, chop the tomato, onion, and cilantro.

    2. Sauté the Vegetables: In a pan over medium heat, sauté the chopped hot peppers, garlic, tomato, and onion until they are softened and slightly charred. This step helps enhance the flavor of the hot sauce.

    3. Blend the Ingredients: Transfer the sautéed ingredients to a blender. Add the chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper.

    4. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all the ingredients until you achieve a smooth consistency. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little water to reach your desired consistency.

    5. Taste and Adjust: Taste the hot sauce and adjust the salt and lime juice according to your preference. If you want a milder sauce, you can remove some of the seeds and membranes from the hot peppers before blending.

    6. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a smoother hot sauce, you can strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp. This step is optional, as some people enjoy the texture of the sauce with the pulp.

    7. Store: Transfer the hot sauce to a sterilized bottle or jar. Allow it to cool before sealing and refrigerate. The flavors will continue to meld over time.

This Sonoran-style hot sauce is versatile and can be used as a condiment or as an ingredient in various dishes. Adjust the heat level by choosing hotter or milder peppers based on your preference. Enjoy the spicy flavors inspired by the Sonoran Desert!
