    Self-Love

    Inner child meditation

    Hello and welcome to this guided session. To begin, I would like you to come into a comfortable position; this can be lying down or seated, whatever feels best for you right now... Make sure that your body is fully supported, and see if you can soften your muscles, releasing tensions and relaxing. Gently close your eyes if you haven’t done so... and as you settle down, bring your awareness to your breath for a few moments... Just noticing the breath, without changing anything about it

    Good... I want you to imagine now a time in your life when you were a child, completely free, without responsibilities or worries... everything was new and everything felt exciting... And perhaps this is difficult for you, maybe you never experienced a time like this... and that’s OK... If that’s the case, just use your imagination and connect with the archetype of the pure child, innocent and free...

    So bringing in that feeling, that sensation... this child-like playfulness, seeing the world through fresh eyes, maybe with excitement for what’s to come... Let’s invite all these inner child qualities as we breathe in... and as we breathe out, let’s release anything that might be holding you back... maybe you have thoughts or feel that you are not allowed to feel that way... or that it’s a waste of time, having so much to do as adults, or that it’s pointless somehow. But I’d like you to try and let go of those thoughts and doubts, see if you can use your exhalation to release anything that might be holding you back... And as you breathe in, again invite all your inner child qualities... Feeling open and free, feeling loved and supported, feeling playful, adventurous, excited, innocent and pure...

    We spend so much time as adults being serious, that sometimes we get too tight... we forget how to be playful, how to loosen up... how to not take everything so seriously. So see if you can connect with this sense of playfulness... this feeling of lightness and openness... Pay attention to what it feels like to be playful... Maybe it involves forgiving, being playful in a situation where we normally would judge or close ourselves... Maybe letting go of the sense of always being right... explore this quality of playfulness, how does it feel? How could I make use of it in my life? Allow yourself to be guided by your intuition, like a child... What would it be like to fully engage in the moment, without judgment, with a fresh and open mind? A child-like mind... Take a moment to be present and to allow all these child-like qualities to grow and expand, fully unlocking your inner child...

    Notice how your body feels right now... notice how does it feel to access your inner child. Does it feel light and open? Does it feel good? Or maybe it just feels silly... Do you maybe feel like your inner child does not have permission to come out and play? Notice the things you tell yourself, and notice if it feels true or not. Giving yourself permission to be light, to play, to just let go for a little bit of time every now and then can be very healing and helpful for our mental balance, if nothing else, just to let go of the stress of everyday life...

    And whenever you feel ready, let’s close this session taking a few deep breaths in and out at your own rhythm... Slowly move your fingers or stretch your neck if you feel like... and then gently, open your eyes.

    Loving yourself

    Welcome to this guided meditation session. First, find a comfortable place to sit where you won't be disturbed. If you're sitting on a chair, make your way to the back to get some support for your lower back. Ground both your feet flat on the floor. Sit upright with your spine, neck, and the crown of your head aligned skyward... Gently pull your shoulder blades back and down, raising your rib cage slightly. These small shifts will create a true physical openness for your heart, an openness consistent with the positive emotions you aim to cultivate today.

    Let’s gently close our eyes now... In this meditation, you'll hear my voice followed by periods of silence. During these pauses, you may continue to silently repeat the phrases that I will offer you...

    Take a few deep breaths, and bring your awareness to your heart. Visualize how each in-breath affects your heart physically... Consider how each in-breath nourishes you as your lungs fill up with precious oxygen...

    Check in now with how your body is feeling. Do you have any aches and pains? Any worries, or areas of tension, or are you excited, caught up in eager anticipation? Whatever the feeling, there's no need to push it aside. Pleasant or not, let that feeling in; accept it as part of what it means to be you at this moment. Meet the feeling with curiosity and openness. Note how it registers in your body, and how those sensations change subtly, from one moment to the next. Whether your current experience is pleasant, or unpleasant, just witness and accept it.

    Let’s begin by lightly calling to mind your own good qualities. Let these qualities remind you of what's good in you. What touches your heart about yourself?... Then gently offer the classic wishes of loving-kindness to yourself, choosing phrasings that best speak to your heart. May I feel safe and protected. May I feel happy and peaceful. May I feel healthy and strong... See and feel yourself as being a dear friend to yourself.

    It might help to first imagine the warmth and tenderness you might feel towards an infant, or a kitten, as innocent as these small creatures can be. Experience how your face softens, and your heart expands, in their presence. Now, imagine directing these same feelings of warmth and tenderness to yourself. And repeat inwardly: May I be happy... I deserve to be happy... May I be free from suffering

    Between each phrase pause for just a moment to drop your awareness down to your body, to your heart in particular; note and accept whatever sensations arise there. Know that this practice is more than the mere repetition of phrases; the phrases simply open a door to a chance for you to condition your heart, to be more open, accepting, and kinder...

    I love myself... I am happy to be who I am... I fully accept and embrace myself...

    As you end this practice, bring a smile to your face and stay present for a moment with all these positive emotions that we cultivated during this session... And whenever you are ready, open your eyes.

    Root healing meditation

    Welcome to this guided meditation session. Please make yourself comfortable in a quiet space and take a brief moment to simply acknowledge your present mental and bodily state... Notice if there’s tension somewhere around your body, and notice also the movements of your mind and emotions

    For this session you can either sit on a chair, or lay down on a bed. Listen to your body and choose any position that feels natural and comfortable... Now I want you to gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths through your nose... Inhale, filling your lungs with fresh air... And use your exhalation to release any tension around your body... Inhale again nice and deeply... and exhale letting go of any worries or anxiety that could be there in your mind...

    And whenever you are ready, let the breath come to a a natural flow... allow your body to breathe by itself at any pace that feels natural, and bring your attention to your root chakra at the base of your spine... Notice any sensations around this area while you visualize it as a red light slowly moving in circles around the base of your spine. Feel a sense of connection and rooting down as you visualize that red color glowing brighter and expanding along with the rhythm of your inhalation and exhalation

    Imagine this red light connecting and grounding you to the earth, giving you a sense of confidence and security... And while you keep this image in mind listen to the following words as if they were resonating from within you, you may choose to repeat them or simply feel them silently:

    I am balanced and in harmony

    I am connected, rooted and aligned

    I am confident, vital and secure

    Having strong roots, I can grow freely and unimpeded

    Let these words reverberate from within for a few moments, and when you feel ready bring your attention to your breath... Feel your breath coming in and out, and simply stay present and aware with it... calmly and quietly, feel your body relaxing even further with each breath...

    And now, bringing your awareness to the solar plexus, between your chest and your navel, visualize a strong fire in this area bringing feelings of empowerment and motivation...

    Visualize this fire growing stronger, with an intense yellow glowing... Feel the warmth and intensity of this energy empowering you, giving you the courage and strength to make any changes you need to make in your life... Visualize any negative feelings burning in this fire and being transformed into positive energy and willpower to help others and bring positive transformation to yourself and the world, and stay there enjoying that positive mental space for a few moments...

    Slowly come back to your body now, making small movements with your fingers, your shoulders... Listening to any sounds around you, noticing the space where you are... you might stretch you neck or your back if you feel like... and gently open your eyes.

    Thank you for practicing with me today.

    Self compassion

    Hello and welcome to this guided meditation session. Today we will work on cultivating positive feelings towards ourselves, opening space for self love and compassion. Please find a comfortable sitting position... you can sit on a chair or maybe on a cushion on the floor. Check that your spine is in a neutral position, softening your shoulders and feeling your chest nice and open. Soften your belly and allow your breath to flow smoothly in and out through your nostrils.

    Let your eyes come to a close, and take a few moments to bring your awareness inwardly... We will take a deep breaths now... Inhale, feeling the air passing through your nostrils and notice also your lungs expanding, filling up with fresh air... hold your breath just for a second, and then exhale allowing your body to relax. Good... Let’s begin by lightly calling to mind your own good qualities. Let these qualities remind you of all of the things you appreciate about yourself. What touches your heart about yourself? Which qualities or attributes, big or small, make you unique? Take a moment to reflect and bring them to mind... And then, gently offer the classic wishes of loving-kindness to yourself, choosing phrasings that best speak to your heart. May I feel safe and protected. May I feel happy and peaceful. May I feel healthy and strong... See and feel yourself as being a dear friend to yourself.

    It might help to first imagine the warmth and tenderness you might feel towards an infant, or a kitten, as innocent as these small creatures can be. Now, turn these same feelings of warmth and tenderness to yourself, and stay there radiating these feelings of compassion, love and care towards yourself.     Listen to the following phrases as if they were coming from a deep place of truth and care within yourself; you may repeat them silently with the voice of your mind if you wish to do so

    From now on, I completely forgive myself, letting go of any harmful feelings or emotions

    I let go of everything that doesn’t serve me anymore

    I am at peace with myself and I am proud of who I am

    I am worthy and I deserve the best

    Self compassion gives me the freedom to redefine myself

    I fully embrace who I am

    I deserve to love myself

    I deserve to be loved by others

    I love and fully accept myself

    Let this words resonate for a few moments in silence... And as we close this session, take a few deep breaths if you feel like... bring your attention to the palms of your hands for a moment, and stay present with any feelings or sensations that you might be experiencing there for a moment...

    And whenever you are ready, gently open your eyes.

    Self-love affirmations

    Welcome to this sleep affirmation meditation. Lying in bed get yourself as comfortable as you can and allow these words to reach you in a relaxed way... You don’t need to actively pay attention to them, simply let yourself go as these words gently wash over you; your subconscious mind will do the rest.

    Close your eyes if you haven’t already, and let’s take a few deep breaths now, inhaling and exhaling through the nose... breathe in bringing serenity and relaxation to your mind... and breathe out releasing any worries or anxiety... breathe in again feeling your lungs expanding... and breathe out letting go of any tension in your body... in this way use your exhalation to let go and relax... breath after breath your mind starts to calm down, breath after breath your body gets more and more relaxed...

    Good... Allow your breath to flow naturally now... don’t try to control it or stretch it... let it be as it wants to be, coming and going at its own natural rhythm... Lets take a few moments to simply notice the breath coming and going... At ease and relaxed... If you find that your mind is still restless, that’s ok.... don’t try to fight it... Simply acknowledge it and gently bring your attention back to the breath... Let it be and let it go... Soon you will find that your mind settles down as your body gets more and more relaxed...

    And now, let’s bring to mind the image of the ocean... Visualize the calming sound of the waves coming and going, mirroring your breath... Your body starts to feel heavy as if you were sinking a little bit on your bed, totally relaxed, totally at peace... let the body soften as you hear the sound of the waves in the distance... use your breath to synchronize with them in perfect harmony... The temperature is perfect, and everything around you feels in perfect harmony and balance... Good... You are completely relaxed now; open and receptive for these affirmations to work with your subconscious mind while you sleep... Let them manifest and resonate from within, recognizing in this phrases the voice of your own true self:

    I love myself

    I’m happy to be who I am

    I let go of the past and anything that doesn’t serve me anymore

    I’m kind to myself as I am kind to others

    I choose to show up and become the best possible version of myself

    I’m grateful and inspired

    I have everything I need

    I feel empowered to live my best life
