Dolcetto o scherzetto?
chiesero i bambini.
Il mago sorrise e disse: Hai risolto l'enigma, giovane strega.
The Night of Witches: A Halloween Adventure
On a chilly autumn night, the moon shone in the dark sky, and leaves danced in the wind. It was Halloween night, the night of the witches.
In the small village of Halloweentown, children were excited. They were getting ready for the magical night when witches and ghosts gathered to have fun.
Little Sofia was determined to be the bravest witch in the village. She had spent weeks preparing her costume, and now she looked like a real witch, with her black hat and a magical broom. Sofia knew that real witches had a magic broom, and she had one, even though it wasn't exactly magical.
Sofia joined the Halloween parade with her friends, Luca and Martina. The adults also joined the festivities, dressed as ghosts, pumpkins, and vampires. There were pumpkins carved with spooky smiles and sweets scattered everywhere.
As the night grew darker, Sofia and her friends decided to go trick-or-treating. They knocked on the doors of houses decorated with glowing pumpkins and asked, Trick or treat?
At the third house, an elderly man with a wizard's hat opened the door. Trick or treat?
the children asked.
The wizard smiled and said, I have a challenge for you. If you can solve the magic riddle, you'll get special treats.
The children accepted the challenge, and the wizard gave them the riddle:
"On the night of the witches, 'midst pumpkins and stars so bright,
I ask you to find what gleams in the darkest night.
It's black as the night but shines like the day,
The dream of every witch, a gem that holds sway."
The children looked at each other, pondering the riddle. Sofia remembered her grandmother telling her about a mysterious magic gem that witches had sought for generations.
They raced through the village, following the traces of the witches. Finally, they arrived in a dark forest, where the witches had gathered in a magical
